The Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sw–bg40) is an electronic bird repeller. It is programmed to send a specific distress signal and predator calls to alert other birds in the area. This type of product effectively repels birds such as pigeons, starlings, seagulls, sparrows and others. Units are programmable and have on-off and a volume control feature for your convenience. It also has a time-off sound and a 24 hour day and night switch. This is ideal to put in small areas to effectively block flocking birds away from your house or building. It's available in two models and plugs into 110 volt power outlet. The Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) emits sound in a cone-type pattern that can work effectively to deter birds from roughly 100 feet away from the unit.

According to the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) is not effective for repelling buzzards. Unfortunately, we do not carry any other products that are labeled for repelling buzzards.
The Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) may work on Grackles, make sure you're only using the sound when they come in to roost in the evenings to scare them away from roosting. If you leave the sound on too much, they'll get used to it and it won't be a deterrent anymore.
How far will the sound carry to scare off the birds?
According to the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) does not effectively repel grackles, however, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 2 (sd-bg42) does.
I have 3 RS Hawks and 8 crows I would like to move away from my property but not my song birds will this work to make them move along but not my song birds. We can't even talk outside because of the caw and squawking of those big birds constantly all day.
