Whether you want to use termite bait stations such as the Advance Termite Bait System Kit or do a liquid soil treatment usually depends on whether there is concrete or soil right next to the foundation. So if there is concrete that extends directly next the foundation all the way around the house, most customers do not want to drill holes into the concrete to accommodate a soil treatment. Bait stations would require less drilling if you have a wide swatch of concrete around the foundation. If there is concrete that is under about 2-3 feet, then you could place bait stations in the ground outside that surface since they should be placed 2-4 feet from the foundation (and outside the dripline of the roof), regardless.
 
The trench method using Taurus SC directly agains the foundation, columns, pillars or support piers that touch the soil would be the best long term preventative treatment for Subterranean Termites as it bonds to the soil for 10 years.
