Ran into a lengthy construction Delay the walls have been exposed since December 2015 we now are getting ready to get the project started back I only see one 2 x 6 that has signs of mold is this product recommended for this type of application also am I clear that this product remains in the wood permanently therefore it would stop any other mold growth

Please be aware that while BoraCare with MoldCare it will not take care of any stains that may be left from the mold. To get rid of the actual mark or stain on the wood, you need to apply Mold-Clean to the area. Mold-Clean should be applied first, and then you should treat the area with BoraCare with MoldCare to make sure the actual mold in the wood is neutralized. It is also extremely important to eliminiate any excess moisture or humidity issues that may cause future mold or fungus problems. You will not be able to prevent mold growth if there are uncorrected moisture issues.
