ZoGuard Plus will kill fleas within 4-12 hours of application when applied according to the product label. If there are eggs that have not yet hatched, then they would not be exposed to the active ingredients until hatching. Therefore, you may still see some flea activity on treated animals after the initial application. This is one of the main reasons that it is recommend to apply systemic flea treatments every 30 days as directed. Keep in mind that ZoGuard Plus will not prevent pets from potentially picking up new fleas from the environment, so we always recommend treating indoor and outdoor areas where pets spend time for the most effective flea control. Please take a few moments to review our Flea Treatment Guide for more tips and information.
