    Q
Does the grass have to be dry to apply 2,4- D LV4 Herbicide?
We have dew in the am, having been spraying at night but wondered if it could be sprayed in the morning when wind speeds are low?

    Application of

2,4 - D LV4 Herbicide should not be made if soil is excessively wet or dry. The dew in the morning however would be fine and would not negatively impact the application.

  • Asked by Tom from Shumway, Il
    07/19/2020
    Q
Can I apply 2,4 - D LV4 Herbicide with a weed wiper directly on weeds?
    A

2,4 - D LV4 Herbicide is labeled for uses around certain crops, turfgrass, pastures and rangeland, and non-crop areas. Since this is designed for larger applications, we do not recommend trying to use this with a weed wiper. For ground application, you will need to apply the specified amount in a minimum of 3 gallons of water per acre. Use more water for both methods when adverse growing conditions are present. For more information regarding the use of a weed wiper, you may contact the manufacturer (Winfield United CP) at (855) 494-6343.

  • Asked by Charles from Pa

    Q
Can 2,4-D LV4 Herbicide be used to control weeds in clover?
    A

No, 2,4 - D LV4 Herbicide is not safe to be applied over clover and would cause severe damage. Broadleaf weeds in ground cover such as clover should be handpulled or spot treated directly using a non selective like Roundup QuickPro. Do not spray on windy days where overspray could occur and damage desirable clovers.
