We used this product in combination with the get. All I can say is that we have seen thousands of dead ants and no more live ones. Buy this product.

I used this product as instructed.  Carpenter ants just kept coming and coming.  They did however carry down inside the nest but showed very little results?  I have decided to change to another option that is working very well.

Being that I absolutely freak out when I see insects but primarily ANTS, I somehow found my way to this website. Based on the stellar reviews, I purchased the big $50 bottle and immediately began sprinkling around my house to get rid of the disgusting carpenter ants that have decided to hang out by my front steps. Now, while I have seen a decrease in the numbers, I still see enough of these pesky ants to drive me mad and they appear to step right on the bait or go around it. It seems like they know they need to avoid it and they are. I am so disappointed that they all didn't get wiped out. Not sure what to do and I am so bummed out. My neighbor also informed me that he has the same problem and that they have been a problem since he moved in about seven years ago. Do I need to get some dynamite and blast em????

I was told by my professional pest control people two years ago that this product could only be purchased by a licensed pest controller. I called them this year and they had doubled their price to come out and treat our home. I'm trying to save money like everyone else while the oil companies take our money at the pump, so I looked on here for a solution. Having remembered the name of the key component made it a quick search. Was glad to see that Abamectin could be bought as of this time. Put out the recommend amount and was patient for 5-6 days until dead carpenter ants littered the corner of our living room like a battlefield. Still have more than enough to last for years if it will keep. Anyone know? Thanks, guys!

This is the product was used by the professional exterminator I called to address a carpenter ant problem. The ants were apparently coming from outside the house to the inside. The professional used this product in select areas around the house and yard and within days an immediate difference was noted and within three weeks the ants were virtually non-existent. I purchased the product to keep on hand so I can feed my ants before resorting to the professional.

I had a parade of black ants coming from the corner of my roof. I first used the granular inside the attic then the gel out by where they were coming and going. today they are gone. totally worth the money. Don't wait.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cause they won't.

I had ants in my house for the 1st time in 2 years. I used BASF Advance 375A inside and now the ants are gone. I found many colonies outside and fed those as well and I haven't found any ant activity since.

I had ants inside my kitchen cabinets. I sprinkled some grains along the outside kitchen wall of my house next to the inside cabinets and after 2 days there is no more ants. This stuff works. I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

This product is excellent for getting rid of those pesky ants. Put a small amount of it down and they will come a running and take it back to the nest taking care of the whole colony. Stopped all of my ant problem on my place and I have three acres. Best product I have used to get rid of ants.

I bought a neglected house that was infested (unknowingly) with carpenter ants. I tried everything to get rid of them. Three years ago I used this product and there are STILL no ants on the property. I overused the product, but my entire neighborhood was infested. This stuff works like stink bait on catfish. You can dump it right on the ants and they will pick it up and carry it off.

I put Maxforce into three bait stations. Two in my kitchen where the ants were trailing and one outside the kitchen. It looked like the ants weren't able to get into the bait stations, but within hours I found a lot of dead ants around a station. There were still a lot of ants in the area but not by morning! No ant activity for two weeks now. I also purchased the Advanced 375A Select Granular Ant Bait and put it around the outside of the kitchen. It's not expensive if you consider that commercial bait is only money you're just throwing away because they simply don't work. I'm a customer for life!

just wanted to write a review for the people who were like me and looking for a solution... the perfect solution for the novice pest control person is to use this product and the ant bait station along with terro... Using this combo works because it kills both types of ants protein and sugar based (i think that is how they are separated)... but because I am no entomologist and just wanted them dead this was awesome... I used the bait stations and with the separator had half granules and half terro and my problems were gone in days... I bought the large sizes thinking that I would need that much but I didn't and you don't either... I used these at a hotel where I work at and barely used a quarter of the container... so order the bait stations order the small size of this and terro and you will be good to go. Good Luck

I love my quirky pest inspection "guy" that has helped me for the past several years manager our "sugar ants"; however, once I realized his "magic sauce" he was using (this stuff!) I decided to look for it online. AMAZING results for a fraction of the cost. Quick delivery! Excellent product for what I call "sugar ants." We use it at all of our rentals and our primary residence. We live in Stuart, Fl. Our property is up high on a sand ridge. For 3 years we have dealt with bigheaded ants around the property. Whenever it would rain they would enter every crevice in the house. I believe they even had a nest in attic. I have tried every home depot and lowes product. I used the tiger dust from lowes for a while but that would simply scare them away and make them hide out until the active dust disappeared. I decided to try Bayer 375A. I sprinkled one small bottle of Bayer 375A around our whole property which is 0.17 acres, very small. The ants immediately grabbed the granules and took them below into their nests. One week later after a vacation we came home. There were piles of dead ants everywhere. Piles of dead ants everywhere! This is the only product that worked for us with bigheaded ants in Florida! Buy it, you wont regret it!

I've used so many products but none worked until I used this product. Advance Select Granular Ant Bait is unbelievable. As I am trying to shake or spoon the bait on the ants are carrying it away. Literally the instant you put it they are taking it back to the nest. Gone, gone, gone.

I have used both this protein bait and the sweet bait (Bayer MaxForce), and in both cases, the odorous ants loved it for the first day. Then they somehow figured out it was bad for them and carefully avoided them. I guess the word gets out!! Any ideas?

This product does the job. I sprinkle the bait around the perimeter of the house. It acts as a barrier. No ants. I also use a liquid bait for ants. Both products were effective.

It works, especially as a "bait band" around the house in spring before they set up housekeeping. Because it's in granules I don't worry about breathing it. Decent price too.

They came to the stations once, then avoided it, but did appear to significantly reduce the population. Still have the crazy ant problem.

I use sparingly in my yard and garden. Then toss over across my neighbors yards. No fire ants for 3 years now.

I have used Advance 375A Ant bait for three years, and it is very effective against small and medium-size brown ants and carpenter ants. I sprinkle it around ant hills as they emerge and under plants and along paths where ants travel. Two cautions: Do not use near dogs (who love the smell) and buy a new container each year to maintain peak effectiveness.

Purchased the gel and granules due to carpenter ants on a porch. The ants were going up and down a post and I didn't want to start removing soffit to find the nest. I put some gel and granules on the handrail and the ants immediately began taking the bait. Two weeks later and there is no sign of the ants.

I found that the type of ants I have love this stuff. I just put a little bit in a medicine bottle cap & it draws them in, they take it back & ants no more.

I wanted to use something to kill the harvester ants in my backyard that was as benign environmentally as possible. I only placed bait by ant mound opening and placed a large garden pot over it , lifted on one side with a brick. This was to keep birds and my new puppy from seeing bait and eating the bait. Well, after 1 treatment I have seen ZERO harvester ants. How satisfying is that!

I had really good luck with the Advance Carpenter Ant bait for those ants last year, so I should have gone with this one for my new problem with smaller ants, but I tried and failed with something else first. The Advance 375A came through, once I finally offered it! (The Carpenter Ant bait was too large and not attractive to these smaller ants.)

Great product, however I have ants behind the back splash in the kitchen and it is proving a challenge to kill them. I even routinely spray with bifen and tarus sc in the soil outside. And suspend for indoors. So all in all great and happy with product.

I have been in the pest control biz for 30 years. Baiting for ants will give you a pretty good chance at eliminating ant colonies. Now, things vary, type of ant, time of year, weather, time of day. Are there other critters that will steal the bait etc. Ants are after either protein or sweet things, again depending on time of year. If they are in your candy , use a sweet bait, if in the pet food THIS is the ticket. It works most every time. Now the beauty of these little granules is that you will actually see the ants move off with a piece. In this way with a flashlight with a red lens or just using slight light of a normal lens (don't freak them out) track them back to the nest. Is it outside? in the roof? You will , with this product be able to find out. Some baits kill too fast, you don't want that. With this product you have two ways to get them, a tainted food supply, and or finding and then attacking the nest direct. I have found THIS product to be the most successful one.
