Yes it's a little on the expensive side.... But that's okay because IT WORKS! Don't waste your money on products that always disappoint. I highly recommend.

After only one use my carpenter ants have disappeared. The only thing I have to be careful of is that my Golden Retriever was very interested in the smell of this stuff. Certainly it would not be good if he decided to sample it. But I am glad the ants are gone. Also saw other smaller black ants happily carrying the little granules away too. Glad different ants like it as well. We certainly have no shortage of ants here in florida and anything that helps eliminate them is great! Also relly appreciate the fast shipping and great customer service. This is a very good company to deal with and will order from them again anytime I need pest control. Thank you.

We had ant piles as big as mountains! We wouldn't let our sons play at all in the back yard because there were soooo many. My brother suggested that we look into this product. He ordered it, came over and poured it everywhere. they were gone in days. Now my sons get to play without being attacked!

The IPM specialist for Bexar County recommended this product to me since we had a severe carpenter ant problem. They had infested our home and wooden arbor. I baited around our entire house and it solved the problem instantly. I now do this every spring and fall, just to make sure no ants have returned. Terrific product. I do keep it in the house in a sealed plastic bag because it has a strong odor and the heat in our garage makes it ineffective.

Advance Carpenter Ant Bait is a great product. Sprinkle around active ant sites and in no time the ants are carrying it off to their nest. I use this when the ants want protein. Of course, I always put it down along with some sweet...Advion Ant Bait Gel. That way, the ants can choose whether they want sweet or protein. I could hear the carpenter ants in my house last summer. I sprinkled the Advance Carpenter Ant Bait along the outside perimeter of my house, and within a few days, the noise was gone. Needless to say, I was so relieved. I ordered it again this spring just to keep the pests from coming back.

This is the same exact product used by professional pest control. Ants love it and you will too as it will flat eliminate them and the queen. It is pricey but still cheaper than hiring a company and a little goes a long way.

Applied half of the container around my house and in areas where I knew nests were present. Usually we are invaded once the heat of summer comes but since the bait has been out there have been zero ants in our house. I applied the other half of the bait ten days later because I was still seeing some ant activity outside. There are still ants around but the 2LB. container has definitely made a significant impact on their numbers. Will probably be ordering another 2LBs. soon.

Seems to work as directed. Have seen ants carrying bait away. Fewer ants seen now. I know carpenter ants are difficult to get rid of without finding the nest but I think this will finally help to control them. I know the regular Advance ant granules I have used in the past have worked very well. I have also used your gel baits for both kinds of ants and it works very well. Controls ants in the house in a day. The carpenter ants are really attracted to the gel applications.

One of the best. As always, ants in some places have different preferences so try any bait before purchasing large quantities. My pesonal experience is that Advance is one of the top two baits. My understanding is that advance deactivates when wet so apply when it is dry. Ebery ant has a job. The ones whose job is to collect food pick it up immediately and rush it back to the nest.

This product worked like a charm. The ants were immediately drawn to it and within a day I saw evidence of their demise. I recommend it as an effective solution.

I use this product on the black ant hills in my yard. The ants started to pick up the bait as soon as it hit the ground. Ant hills are now gone.

I used it around the outside of the house as directed and sprinkled it on the window seals. The next day and following days they were gone. Will use it again if they come back. I would recommend this to anyone.

The carpenter ants ate the bait and within 2 weeks do not see anymore of them outside the house where they were present. I did not purchase the Maxforce Carpenter Ant Gel for sweet bait because I have good luck with Terro which I use for the little sugar eating ants. For those of you that complain, you have to provide both protein and sweet baits for carpenter ants. If they are in sweet eating mode, then they will not touch this bait. The carpenter ants will change between the 2 types of bait based on their dietary needs. This is thoroughly explained in the description and even a combo is offered to buy both this and Maxforce Ant Gel.

If you're having trouble with the end of summer and fall is here and so comes the Carpenter Ants. I purchased the 2lb container of Advance Ant Bait. In (2) days the ants have disappeared from around the outside of our home. And I may not see any more Carpenter Ants for a couple of years maybe a little longer. A great product and fast customer service with delivery the next day after ordering.

I bought the plastic trays to put this bait in and placed it in several strategic locations in my kitchen. I got absolutely no response. However after I added the carpenter ant bait gel, the trays were full of ants and empty of bait within a couple of hours. I had no idea there were that many ants in my house. I refilled the trays and watched as about half of the bait disappeared over the next two days. A little over a week out and I am finding an occasional emaciated ant but most are GONE. I would have given 5 stars except for static electricity between the plastic tray and granules caused a huge mess.

A lot of carpenter ants around our exterior garage door. Looked at night to be sure and locate the nest. Sprinkled the bait around the nest in about 6 foot perimeter as well as any trails. each night we went out and looked and saw less and less ants and a lot of dead ants. Followed up with another application after rain and a week or so. Last check have not seen any ants. Hopefully this continues as it seems to be working!

I had a large colony of carpenter ants living in a very large and old Yoshino Cherry tree. The tree had holes and piles of saw dust at the base and always had ants crawling on it. I put a few small piles of Advance Carpenter Ant Bait at the most active spots around the tree. At first a few ants just walked over the bait but a few others took the bait up into the hole. Early morning and late night I saw normal activity. Then a few days passed and one morning my tree was crawling with ants, more then I ever saw on and around it. They were running in circles and falling off the tree obviously affected by the bait. By that evening the colony was decimated. For the next few days I'd see 4 or 5 ants on the tree. Now 2 weeks later and no sign of activity. I'd say this stuff worked for me. After a few years of spraying this tree trying to control the ants I wish I had found this stuff sooner.

Flying carpenter ants keep appearing in our house when the weather is warm. I searched extensively for their entrance points and found nothing obvious. So, I put the bait out on an upper window sill. At first, nothing happened. Now, two weeks later, the ants have disappeared. I hope they're gone for good. Only time will tell.

This ant bait must be really delicious to ants. As soon as I sprinkle a teaspoon of it near the ant trail, they immediately start carrying it back to their nest. Usually within an hour or two, all signs of ants are gone.
