Product Overview

Alligare Diquat Herbicide is a professional weed killer that effectively controls unwanted aquatic weeds. Contains diquat dibromide as its active ingredient which targets only the parts of the plant where the product is applied. It slowly kills weeds, offering optimum performance. Alligare Diquat Herbicide is immediately absorbed by the weed once applied and gradually shows signs of dying within a few days. It may be used on sites like ornamental seed crops, aquatic areas, noncrop or nonplanted areas on farms, turf renovation, dormant established turfgrass, landscape, commercial, industrial, public, residential, and recreational areas. For best results, it is highly advisable to apply the herbicide to actively growing weeds, young and free from stress. Available in a 32 oz bottle.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Apply this product to newly emerged weeds while actively growing and before they become too large (weeds 1-6 inches in height are easiest to control). Be sure to follow the specified rates listed in the instructions below, using the higher rates when weeds are large or dense.

If weeds have been mowed or grazed (removing much of the green foliage) be sure to allow weeds to regrow to a height of 2-4 inches before application.

NOTE: Because dust can coat target surfaces and reduce product activity, avoid applying in extremely dusty conditions (e.g., dust caused by high winds or the passage of equipment tires).
