    Can you mix Alpine WSG with another pesticide to kill and control carpenter bees?
    A

    Alpine WSG Insecticide is not labeled to control carpenter bees, so we would recommend using a different product rather than mixing the Alpine with another product. If you are looking for a combination product that includes a non-repellent for control of carpenter bees, then Temprid FX would be a great option. We also have insecticide spray and dust included in our Carpenter Bee Control Kit.

    You can use 10-30g of Apline WSG per gallon of water depending on which pest(s) you are treating.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Where do I spray my Alpine WSG? Also can I just mix the packet with water in a water bottle or do I need to buy a pesticide pump sprayer?
    I'm getting rid of roaches, german cockroaches & some silver fish in my kitchen and bathroom.

    You can find a diagram here that shows where to apply Alpine WSG.  It is recommended to use a 1-gallon pump sprater to apply this product.

    When using Alpine WSG to treat for fleas do you have to use an IGR as well?
    Is it necessary to include an IGR when doing a flea treatment?

    Yes, for best results, you should also use an IGR along with Alpine WSG for flea control.  Please take a look at our flea control guide for more information.

    Will Alpine WSG kill Bedbug eggs?
    A

    The Alpine WSG will kill only kill Bed Bugs that come in contact with the direct spray or with the treated area for 30-60 days. Please keep in mind it really takes more than one product to treat for Bed Bugs and their eggs.     May I use Alpine WSG, like a granule on the ground?

    Alpine WSG is a water soluable granule which must be dissolved in water and sprayed.  It can not be applied as a granular broadcast application.

    Can I Apply Alpine WSG inside kitchen cabinets and closets?
    The kitchen/utensil cabinets and closets will be empty.

    Alpine WSG can be applied as a crack and crevice in closets, baseboards, under refrigerators, around pipes, void areas, under sinks, opening around pipes, etc. We do not suggest applications in utensil cabinets. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Can German roaches build an immunity to Alpine WSG?
    A

    It is possible that insects can become resistant to Alpine WSG if it is used repeatedly for a long period of time. We recommend rotating between insecticides at least once a year to prevent resistance issues.

    Can Alpine WSG be used in restaurants?
    Is this good for weekly or monthly restaurant service?
    A

    You could use Alpine WSG as a perimeter spray outside around the building and as a spot spray inside when the business is closed and customers are not in the area. Alpine WSG has residual acitivity of 30 to 60 days for most applications.

    Which is better/faster for residential indoor ant control - Alpine WSG, Phantom, or Temprid FX?
    A

    Temprid FX would have the faster kill over Alpine WSG and Phantom, but Phantom would be the better option since it has a transfer effect to eliminte the entire colony.  Temprid will only kill those that contact a treated area.

    Can I spray Alpine WSG over my entire floor and carpet to kill fleas?
    A

    Yes, Alpine WSG can be broadcast on carpeted areas for fleas. According to the product label, when treating for fleas you want to apply the product to infested areas or potentially infested areas, such as rugs, floors, carpets, upholstered furniture, pet beds, and pet resting areas. When applying to upholstered furniture treat under cushions and areas where flea development can occur.

    Is Alpine WSG safe to use around pregnant women?

    Alpine WSG should be applied, dried and area ventilated prior to the pregnant women returning to the treated areas. They should not apply the product or be present during the application.

    My landlord wants to spray Alpine WSG into kitchen cabinets where food and utensils are, is this ok?
    I've read the MSDS and I'm not sure this is something that should be applied into cabinets where food and cooking utensils etc will be stored. I've expressed concern to the landlord but they don't believe it's a concern.
    A

    The Alpine WSG label states the following: When applying in a residential or commercial structure, DO NOT contaminate food, feed stuffs, or water supply.  DO NOT contaminate food preparation surfaces, kitchen utensils, dishes or food/feed storage containers.  Cover any food/feed contact surfaces and cooking utensils in the treatment area before treatment or thoroughly clean after treatment and before using.

    How much Alpine WSG should I mix for 1/2 gallon of water. And how much NyGuard should I add for a half gallon for cockroaches?

    You can use 10-30g of Apline WSG per gallon of water depending on which pest(s) you are treating.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.  NyGuard IGR is mixed at 3ml per gallon of water so you would need have the rate of each for the ½ gallon container of water used for application

    Can Alpine WSG be applied while it's raining?
    A

    It is not recommended to use Alpine WSG while it is raining outdoors. This will wash the product away, and it will not be effective for the pests your are attempting to eliminate. We would recommend waiting until it has been down for at least 6 hours before it rains.

    Will Alpine WSG work to eliminate springtails?
    A

    Yes, Alpine WSG  is labeled to treat for springtails. Be sure to also address any moisture issues around the structure and pull and mulch or pine straw away from the foundation prior to applciation.
