Customer Reviews for Armada 50 WDG Fungicide

Armada 50 WDG proved to be highly effective against residential turf fungus, including Dollar Spot in Zoysia lawns. This wettable dust is meant to be mixed in an agitating spray tank, typical of commercial spray trucks. However, this type of equipment is beyond the capability of most home owners who tend toward hose end sprayers. This product cannot be used in typical home owner sprayers. It is possible to use this product in an agitating backpack sprayer for smaller applications, but this is not ideal. For large areas such as whole lawns(as it should be used) it is difficult to apply this product correctly without the proper equipment. Armada 50 WDG is a Group 3 & 11 fungicide and will need to be rotated with another product to avoid resistance.

I have used this product for years. It is unbeatable for fungus control in fescue in hot weather. But what I am truly impressed with is the advice and service I have gotten from domyownpestcontrol.com. Prompt and professional!

I only gave this fungicide 3 stars because it was somewhat difficult to apply. It would be much better if it was in liquid form. The granules did not dissolve easily and I had to stop and unclog the pump suction screen frequently on my spray rig. Only time will tell if the product works on take-all patch.

Great stuff. Had Australia pines I was guessing had needle blight. Sprayed with fungicide and with in a few days new growth started. I was amazed and so were my neighbors. This is good stuff

Armada 50 WDG fungicide is by far the best fungicide for the money. I have empire zoysia and live in zone 10. Summertime can be challenging with excessive rains and high humidity. I only apply fungicide at the first sign of fungus start ups. Whether it's brown patch, Dollarspot, or pythium blight, armada 50 controls it very quickly. I've tried many fungicide in the past. I couldn't be happier with my investment. If you have turf grass, this is your best friend.

After reading the other reviews I had hoped that I had finally found a cure to the yearly brown patch. Unfortunately even after 2 treatments the lawn is showing any improvement.

I have always battled turf disease in this humid climate with warm nights and daytime temps climbing into the upper 90's. Dual mode action is achieved using Armada 50 WDG without having to grab a second product to mix in the tank.

Wave your large patch issues good bye! I follow the "Bayer large patch guarantee" program for this product and its been a game changer in my Zoysia lawn. Not sure what that guarantee program looks like? You can google the program but essentially its 3 correctly timed preventative apps.

Applied one app at recommended rate in my Tall Fescue lawn for brown patch and dollar spot. Didn't help at all and the grass seemed to get worse. Was really hoping to like this product too.

With diseases they are always easier to prevent than to cure and when they are thriving it can take repeat applications and rotating to different products to get complete elimination. There are also non chemical steps to take to help eliminate conditions that allow these diseases to thrive. My grass was looking strange and as I research the yellow spots on the blades and some blades were shriveling up and turning yellow at the tips. I found out it was some type fungus. I then went on to DoMyOwn web site and research some more and bought this product. Its a little expensive but well worth it. I would rather by this than have to buy new sod. I have only treated my yard once and it is already back to a lush green.
