Barenbrug Turf Saver RTF Rhizomatous Tall Fescue with Yellow Jacket is a tall fescue seed mix that is self-repairing with strong insect tolerance, traffic tolerance, and disease resistance. Upon establishment, it creates an extensive root system with large, deep roots known for their high density and longevity. Has been proven to restore damaged turf to maintain turf quality. This product conserves 30% water and is heat-resistant. Can be used in full sun and partially shaded areas. Excellent for turfs, golf courses, and clubhouse grounds.

Great Seed, DoMyOwn Completely Sucks!

5 stars on the seed! Haven't noticed any weeds during my over seeding. 7-10 day germination, on the 7th day it germinated watering 2x a day for 20 mins each time. 0 stars for DoMyOwn. Ordered Tall Fescue was sent KBG. Do yourself a favor and order from another company. I brought it to their attention but they were out of this brand in a Tall Fescue RTF. I didn't want to wait for the seed to come in stock and miss my seeding window so I decided to keep what they sent me. They wanted to charge me the approximate $50 difference. Also take 3-4 days just to pack and ship an order plus shipping time.

Fantastic Product and Service

SE Michigan - Sown on 9/24 @ 10lb/1000sq - avg. temp appox. 78 degrees. I had germination within 5 days and excellent growth (2-3" in parts) within 2 weeks. It is on track for fast establishment and excellent uniformity. I'm immediately impressed with the product and look forward to seeing how well the rhizomes propagate to fill in the squirrel holes in the spring. I ordered 50lbs (2- 25lb bags) for overseeding and to fill-in where I've battled back creeping bentgrass (thank you Tenacity!). Unfortunately one bag was backordered initially. DMO support was very communicative and worked to get me the backordered bag ASAP. It only set me back a week and fortunately the weather looks to be holding out well to keep things in the right range.
