B&G PestPro II 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer XR-Valve & 4-way Tip is created with an exclusive tip design that prevents any leakage of chemicals that often comes with other backpacks when the pump begins to wear. To prevent any drippings, this sprayer has a tip shut off for drip-free application, a heavy duty hose, and a brass shut off and wand. With the backpack, comes a comfort shoulder strap and a dual position handle. It also includes a very efficient pump, requiring fewer pumps and effort to keep a constant spraying pressure. The 4 Way Tip will prevent over application, resulting in saving money instead of wasted insecticides. It can spray in a pin stream and a 3 feet fan spray. The huge opening on the top will allow for easy filling and emptying. The cap has a built-in gasket with a strainer basket. Never use flammable liquids, caustics, acids, or hot water in this tank.

One of the best I've owned

If you are a fan of B&G you will love this sprayer. I do a lot of Bed Bug work and like the fact that I do not have to haul a sprayer around with me constantly. It is on my back leaving my hands free to move mattresses, boxsprings, etc. The hose and wand are quality B&G products. Highly recommended.

Nice but falls short in some aeas

I have been using B&G products for years professionally. Unfortunately, this sprayer does not live up to the B&G quality I have known. First off, the hose leaked at the plastic handle connection. The clamp they use is insufficient and would not tighten. I had to replace right away with a regular tried and true hose clamp. The clips at the top of the tank to store the wand are totally worthless. The wand will not snap into place and also are oriented horizontal instead of vertical which make the wand stick out. This can be inconvenient when storing in your truck. How R&D missed that as all they had to do is look at a Birchmeier. The wand is not as comfortable as the traditional B&G wands as well. In my opinion this sprayer has fallen way short of the B&G name. The Birchmeier is still the better sprayer. Between these two sprayers, I can spray much faster with the Birchmeier but uses more product typically. A trade off I'm not sure yet is worth the purchase. Save money with less product used but time is money. I would go with the time and something I know has worked for 5 years or more problem free. Just looking at this B&G sprayer construction makes me highly doubt I will get the same performance.

Great Backpack

All my techs really prefer this back pack over the birchmeire. Its light and the wand is of B&G quality. The output of material is amazing. The only con is the pump handle, it does not come out. That's the only thing I feel is a con, but I feel really comfortable the way it is.

This and the beirchemier backpacks are the only backpacks that are worth a buy Maybe flowzone too but I've never bought one of those because I've had my pest pro for years Also the 4 way tip is interchangeable with your B&G in case on gets clogged or you lose one

Back pack sprayer

We have a female tech who is small in stature and the 4 gallon units are physically too big to fit for her.
The B&G Pest Pro II 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer with 4-way Tip Model 12014259 is 24" x 14" x 8" and it weighs about 14 lbs.

What is the warranty on this sprayer
The B&G Pest Pro II 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer with 4-way Tip Model 12014259 comes with a 1 year warranty for manufacturing defects.
I have a lot tall trees i.e 10-12 feet. I need the mist to reach that height.
The B&G Pest Pro II 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer with 4-way Tip Model 1 will spray 10-15 ft like most other hand held and backpack sprayers.

The PSI range for a B&G PestPro II 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer XR-Valve and 4-way tip will be a range of about 15-50 psi. You could maybe get up to 60 psi at full pressure. The rates for the 4-way tip sprays are as follows:
fine pin - 4.5 oz/min;
large pin - 8.9 oz/min;
small fan - 8 oz/min;
wide fan - 17 oz/min
