This is a special order item and can take up to 2 weeks for shipping. The PAS 1640 comes with a fan cooled compressor, preventing your unit from overheating. The lower rated PAS 1630 does not have a fan cooled compressor and can overheat.
NOTE: This does NOT come with a Power Cord. We recommend using a standard contractor's extension cord with this unit.
The B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial gives a deep penetrating aerosol type spray to apply long lasting residual insecticides in an aerosol form, which will save money over buying aerosol cans. Modern pest control often requires more than one application method such as delivering a residual liquid to harborages, and an aerosol to infest voids and enclosed spaces. This combination is effective for cockroaches in kitchens, bed bugs in hotels and dormitories, and carpenter ants in wall voids. Using a pin stream and an aerosol does not add any time to the job, and can be done at the handle of the B&G Portable Aerosol Unit. This is the ideal tool for integrating liquid and aerosol application with one tool and one operator.
The entire system: 1 gallon tank which can be removed for spot treatments, fan-cooled compressor, 10-15 ft. coiled hose, brass and stainless gun, and the extension fit into a B&G Carry Case for a professional appearance and security. The Portable Aerosol Unit (PAS) can be adjusted from a very fine ULV fog to a heavy mist to handle most applications and is fully repairable.

Decent alternative to others on the market

It is nice to have another aerosol injection system on the market, especially since this one is around half the price of the next cheapest unit. Pros - The unit uses mostly standard B&G parts so it is easy to get replacements and the unit can be used for standard pinstream spray or fog by adjusting airflow. The unit is about half the price of the next cheapest unit on the market. Cons - The unit is rather large and bulky. The tank does not secure very well inside the unit. There is no on/off switch on the outside, meaning you have to open the unit to turn it on and off.

Very Efficient

Simply one of the best investments for doing multiple Bed Bug, roach, or other jobs that are critical for small voids or crack/crevice areas. I use this on a regular basis and can't say enough good about how well it penetrates those hard to access spaces where the pests are hiding. It simply allows you to put the chemical where you actually need it to go.

I need a system that will take a liquid like 1% pyrethrum and turn into a mist so I can chase out roaches from crack and crevice as I did when I was an exterminator. I do NOT want to spray a liquid stream but a controllable mist from a wand. Can this or other product do that??
Can I fill it out with pyruthrin and flush the crevises .
Can use products diluted in water?
You can use either an SC or EC product in the B&G Portable Aerosol System Delivery Unit Commercial (1640 PAS) and would mix all insecticides according to label directions, which includes mixing with water. It can also be used with ULV fogging solutions for contact kills.

The house has inwall tubes system and I wish to DIY, Please help?
Unfortunately, you need a special air compressor to apply and special product for the tube systems, and we sell neither. Actually though, it is much better to do an outside service treatment to keep bugs out. The thing about the tube system is that for it to kill a bug, the bug has already gotten in your house. 99% of all pest control companies do outside treatments since 99% of all pests problems come from outside. This is also what we recommend.
Our most popular general use product is called Talstar P. It is widely used by pest control companies because it is labeled for almost every insect you could have a problem with and you can use it outside the home as well as inside, it is odorless and very safe for use around children and pets. It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer. It will last for 60 to 90 days outside in between treatments. It is also labeled for lawn and ornamental use, and can be used on trees, plants, bushes and shrubs for all sorts of ornamental pests including Japanese beetles, mosquitoes, and other leaf eating pests.
