    Q
Is the hose on the 1-gallon B&G Sprayer supposed to be left loose, or should it be tightened?
I purchased my first B&G sprayer, attached the hose using a crescent wrench. Prior to tightening, the nut turned freely allowing the hose to swivel, once tightened, the hose is fixed in position - is this the way it should be? Or did I over tighten and screw up my new hose?
    A

You did the right thing. The hose of the B&G Sprayer 1 Gallon 18 in. Wand is not supposed to swivel, it is fixed in one position when tightened.

    Q
Can the B&G Sprayer 1 Gallon 18 in. Wand & Extenda-Ban Valve (N124-S-18) be used for multiple pesticides?
    A

Yes, it is fine to use different products out of the same sprayer such as the B&G Sprayer 1 Gallon 18 in. Wand & Extenda-Ban Valve (N124-S-18), as long as you triple rinse the sprayer and wash it out thoroughly. Triple rinse means to rinse out the inside of the sprayer 3 times, and also fill it with water and run clean water through the hose for at least 1 minute to make sure that there is no residual left in the hose in addition to the tank. We also sell tank cleaners that are excellent for removing any possible residual from your sprayer.

    Q
Is there a nozzle tip that will not drip?
    A

The only sprayers that come with a true tip shut-off are B&G Sprayers such as the B&G 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer. You can purchase different tips for B&G sprayers, however they will only fit sprayers from this manufacturer. To reduce drip from the product left in the wand when spraying, you can release the tank pressure, hold your wand up vertically, and then squeeze the trigger to release some of the extra product.

How do I get the sprayer to turn off when I'm not spraying it?
I have an issue with the sprayer not turning off when I release the handle. It isn't a leak, but more of a steady stream. I've tried adjusting the packing nut and other parts, but I can't seem to get it to turn off.

    Q
How long does B&G 1 Gallon Sprayer + 18-inch wand - N124-S-18 hold pressure between pumps?
    A
We apologize, there are too many variables at hand to accuratly answer your question concerning the B&G 1 Gallon Sprayer + 18-inch wand - N124-S-18.
The amount of pressure will depend on where you are treating and how full the sprayer is. If your sprayer is full all the way to the top, that does not leave much room for air and you could probably only physically pump it two times. If your sprayers was half way full you would need to pump it several times…5-8 times to fill the large space with air to force the product out. Really you just need to pump the sprayer until you feel tension on the pump handle and it becomes difficult to pump any longer. The B&G sprayer is the best sprayer available and it can handle a high amount of pressure.
