B&G Sprayer Extenda Band Valve
B&G Sprayer Extenda Band Valve
“Today we're gonna talk about the B&G Extenda Band Valve. The B&G Extenda Band Valve comes in three different sizes. It comes in the 9 inch size, which is the one I'm holding here. It also come in an 18 inch wand size. And, we also have a 24 inch wand size. All three of them have the exactly the same characteristics.
First, we have the valve handle, which is down here. In the valve handle, we have a screen or filter that's located in the rear, and we have the automatic stop so that you can't accidentally turn the sprayer on when you don't want it to come on. The other thing all three will have in common is the tip assembly. The tip assembly is this unit right here. The tip assembly can have one of two separate tips. This one's loaded with the 4-way tip, and we also have a crack and crevice tip. And the crack and crevice tip is nice because you can take and put a straw inside the crack and crevice tip then put the assembly back together which will give you a way to treat cracks and crevices with your B&G wand, no matter which size you have. If you were ever to take it apart or take the tip assembly off you want to use two crescent wrenches at the same time. If you try to take it apart using one crescent wrench, you will break the wand. There's no doubt about it. It'll twist the wand and it'll be unusable. So, remember that's why it's notched right here for a crescent wrench to hold it steady. Inside the extenda valve, there is a cable which pulls the plunger and the reason for it's significance is that it makes this dripless. So, as soon as you let go of the wand, the plunger closes at the tip of the assembly and no more fluid comes out. Normally in other manufacturers their plunger is up at the front and so whatever liquid is still in the wand, will run out onto the ground or surface where you're spraying. If you need a part for your extenda band valve we have every part available online: every individual cable, the packing nut, the locking nut, the handle, the valve body, the screens, the connectors, every single part imaginable for the B&G Extenda Band Valve, we have in stock and on our website for your convenience. B&G Sprayer Hand Pump Assembly
B&G Sprayer Hand Pump Assembly
“ This is the B&G Pump Assembly. This is comprised of many different parts all of which I am about to cover right now. You can buy all these parts on our website down to the tub, the handle, the plunger rod, and the tip cap. If you were to pull this apart, you'll notice that there is some red grease that keeps it very well lubed. We also sell the red grease on our website, along with all the spreader cups, the nuts, and the washers. These are all the parts that make up the pump assembly. The most important two parts are going to be these two gaskets. The top gasket which is P268, and the bottom gasket which is PV266. These two gaskets will be the ones that you want to take care of the most. If you're pumping your pump up and it's not holding pressure, it's either because the PV266 is failing or this top GD168 is failing. If these two are failing you're not going to maintain pressure in your pump. And that's why these two are so important to keep replaced.
The nice that we have on our website is a GD124 replacement kit, which is every single piece that you would need to rebuild the whole entire pump assembly. It has the replacement springs, the PV266, the grease, the spreader cap, and it also has the bottom spring and the top spring. Another good thing to note is that if you get the kit, it's impossible to put the wrong part in the wrong place because of the way they're sized. So as you'll notice, this only fits around the tub, and this fits neatly up against the spreader cup. And so it's very hard to use the wrong thing in the wrong place.
The short spring goes right here under the threaded rod, and the long spring goes inside. For more information on the B&G Tank Assembly please click below. And, if you like this video please subscribe to our YouTube Channel.”
B&G 1 Gallon Sprayer Tank Assembly
Learn how to assemble the B&G 1 Gallon Sprayer Tank.
“ This is the B&G one gallon sprayer. It's composed of three major components: the tank, the pump assembly, and the spray gun. We're going to go over each of these in detail so that you know what parts make up the B&G one gallon sprayer.
First, we're going to talk about the tank and pump assembly, so in order to do that we need to remove the spray wand. And, we'll remove the pump assembly. What we're left is the tank. The tank has a replaceable top and bottom that are also available in a green color. Then, the other most important part is the siphon tube which is locate right here, which is held in by a double sided nut, which is also on our website. By removing the double sided nut, you simply slide it down in and that's why it has a flanged end. It only goes in one way, and obviously only one end can go in first. So these are the parts that make up the one gallon tank.
