There isn’t a set window of application that has to be maintained or followed, but we often recommend giving a few days between treatment if you are applying several items to the lawn to avoid any unnecessary stress to it. Pre emergents and fertilizers usually require a higher water volume or watering in after application, whereas the Bifen I/T would use less water per surface area and would need to remain on the surface and not be washed away. Application a few days after a pre em or fertilizer application would be fine.

Bifen is also only used at 1 (ONE) ounce per gallon of water and should never be used at a rate higher than this for multiple reasons. If you need to treat a fire ant mount around edible plants such as grapes, you can either use boiling water to drench the mound directly and kill them on contact, or go with a product like Sevin Insecticide which is for controlling insects in garden areas.
