    Can I spray Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf Concentrate around fruit and banana trees? Will it be absorbed by roots to get in fruit?

    Bayer Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf Concentrate should NOT be applied around edible vegetation including fruit trees. If this has been applied, we recommend discarding the fruit. We do carry a product called Monterey Fruit Tree and Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench that is labeled for fruit tree systemic applications.

    Can I spray Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf Concentrate directly on my Hibuscus to kill aphids?

    Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf Concentrate is not labeled to control aphids. You should choose a product that lists aphids on the product label to make sure it will work for your needs. Talstar would be a good choice. We do recommend that you try to avoid spraying the blooms directly as the blooms are delicate and bruising could occur.

    I accidentally put Bio Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf Concentrate in my garden. What do I need to do? Is everything bad now?

    Anything edible that was contacted with Bio Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf Concentrate would need to be discarded.  Anything else from that area would not be safe to consume for at least one growing season.

    Does Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for outdoors kill snails and slugs also?
    A

    The Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf concentrate is not labeled to control snails or slugs as they require a much more specific product to eliminate them. One of our best products for eliminating snails and slugs in various areas is the Sluggo Plus.

    APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:

    Scatter the bait granules on the soil around or near the plants to be protected with a suitable hand or power operated spreader (gravity or rotary) to ensure uniform coverage over the treatment area. Apply bait evenly at approximately 0.5 to 1 lb. per 1,000 square feet, or for smaller areas, 0.075 to 0.15 oz., or 0.5 to 1 teaspoon, per square yard. Do not place in piles. Scatter the bait around the perimeter of the area to provide a protective "barrier" for pests entering the area. If the ground is dry, wet it before applying bait. Sluggo Plus works best when soil is moist but with little or no standing water.

    The rate on Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf depends on where you are applying the product and are below per the product label:

    On Flowers, Roses, Shrubs and Trees etc: 1/2 fl. oz. (1 Tablespoon) per gallon of water 
    For lawn pests and along building foundations: 3 fl. oz. per gallon of water

    Can dogs eat grass treated with Bayer Advanced Insect Killer?
    A

    There is only a small amount of active ingredient of Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf left behind once dry.  Pets should be out of the area during treatment until dry, typically about 4-6 hours, but then it is okay if your dog chews/eats the treated grass.

    If Bayer Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf Concentrate was sprayed on edibles and hosed off within 1 hour, are the edibles safe to eat?
    Bayer advanced complete was sprayed on the vegetable garden by mistake. The mistake was quickly noted and all was hosed off within an hour after Complete was applied. Can we eat what is is the garden? Can we plant this fall? Next spring?

    Bayer Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf Concentrate should not be applied on or around edible vegetation.  Any edibles sprayed with the product are not fit for consumption and should be discarded.  After applying Bayer Complete Insect Killer for Soil & Turf Concentrate, it is recommended that you wait at least one year before planting edibles in the area.
