    Great for Chamberbitter

    By Bruce on 09/02/2019

Works great to kill and control chamberbitter. Although chamberbitter is not listed this product contains Isoxaben which is the herbicide that kills chamberbitter. If you follow the directions this product will also act as a pre emergent for chamberbitter.

Scott;s Season Long Weed Control does not prevent poa anua a

    By Gordon on 02/27/2016

I ordered this product in hope of preventing poa anua from emerging. I Used a liquid dispenser and dit on aor about Jan 5, 2016. It had not affect on preventing the poa anua from popping up. It looks like this weed is growing as it's always done through out the last 40 years. On the internet I was found poa anua listed on your weed list. But it isn't listed on the brochure that came on the product.

    Expert ResponseExpert response:
It is very important to go by the label. This particular product is labeled for broadleaf weeds and will not work for grassy weeds like poa annua. We do specifically say on the product page that the product is labeled for broadleaf weeds only. Please let us know if you need help selecting a product better suited for your needs.

    Bayer Season Long Concentrate

    By Steven on 04/24/2013

The product seems to work but too early to tell for the whole season. Called Bayer and asked about about setting for a hose attached sprayer 1.5- 1.6 oz.setting. Use disposal gloves, long shelves and apply on a non wind day. Rain will work the chemical in the ground.Very simple to apply using this method.

Q
Will Bayer Advanced Season Long Weed Control For Lawns Concentrate work as a pre-emergent for crabgrass?
A

Bayer Advanced Season Long Weed Control For Lawns Concentrate does have a pre-emergent in it and will control weeds before they germinate, however it does not control or prevent crabgrass. We would recommend one of our other pre emergent items like Hi Yield with Dimension or Prodiamine 65 for a pre emergent to prevent crabgrass in the spring.
