  • Asked by Joz from Hialeah

    Q
Can Bayer Advanced Termite Killer Ready to Spread Granules be used in the attic of my home?
    A

No, the Bayer Advanced Termite Killer Ready to Spread Granules can only be used outdoors for Subterranean Termites. This product is for soil applications only and requires light watering to activate the granules to be released on the top layer of soil where termites possibly contact. Click HERE to review the product label for instructions.

For direct spot treatments of active termite colonies in the attic, we would suggest using Termidor Foam or if you are looking for a curative + long term preventative application against Drywood or Subterranean Termites, Bora-Care would be the best treatment.

Please review our How to Treat for Subterranean Termite Guide for step by step instructions on how to get a 10 year barrier treatment for termites in the soil around the foundation of your home.
