Fertilome Liquid Systemic Fungicide II is not labeled to be used as a systemic soil drench. If you are looking for a product to use that way we would recommend Monterey Agri-Fos Systemic Fungicide. This can be used as a soil drench at the base of the tree, foliar spray, by soil incorporation, through basal bark treatment, and as a bare root dip.
The BioAdvanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed II Granules is a great option for systemic and long term control of whiteflies on plants, however it will not provide immediate results. You also will still need to water this product in for the roots to absorb it and treat and protect the plant. You can use a watering can, bucket, etc to achieve this.
If you need immediate knock down of plants on the ficus you would want to use something like Fertilome Neem Spray with Py which will provide contact kill and about a 7 day residual. You could mix up a 1-2 gallon tank sprayer worth and spray the foliage until wet to achieve fast results.
