    Will Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) help to get rid of turkey vultures roosting in the large trees in our yard?

    Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) works on smaller birds like pigeons, starlings, seagulls, and sparrows. The Bird Barrier Rotating Owl Bird Deterrent (sd-owl2) is an option to use for keeping buzzards/vultures away.  We did find a helpful article here as well.

    Would Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) be helpful against hawks?
    We have some raptors picking off our chickens. I’m looking for an ethical way to repel them from my property. Would this work?

    Per the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier bird Gard 110v Pro 2 (sd-bg42) does include hawks as a target species, however, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) does not.

    The Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) is programmable and have on-off and a volume control feature for your convenience. It also has a time-off sound and a 24 hour day and night switch.

    Will the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 work on vultures?
    We have a large property next to a body or water which is infested with vultures . They relax about the property but also get up on the building edge and do damage to the roof top.

    According to the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110V Pro 1 (sd-bg40) has not been proven effective for deterring vultures.  You may consider using a product like MasterLine Bird Spike System - Stainless Steel, which is an economical solution to keep birds from landing and roosting where they should not, and is useful against many birds, including vultures.

    Will the Bird Barrier Bird Gard keep hawks out of the yard?
    We have a small 8 pound dog who we cannot leave outside alone. Will this device keep hawks away?

    No, Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) is unlikely to work on hawks. There are not many products on the market for hawk control as they are seen as beneficial.

    Will Bird Barrier Bird Gard repel Cooper and red-tailed hawks from domestic ducks and chickens, please?
    Looking to deter local Cooper and red-tailed hawks from attacking our ducks and the neighbors' chickens. Eastern PA in residential neighborhood. Problem seems worse in winter. Thank you!

    What will the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) do to chickens and guineas?
    I have a hawk that has been stalking and killing my chickens and guineas. I have the owl decoys that I have been moving daily as well as netting and spiral reflectors and the hawk is still not deterred. He has killed two roosters and many hens. Even swooped into my barn and harassed birds penned inside.

    According to the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier Gard 110v Pro 2 (sd-bg42) would be the more effective choice to repel the hawk you are dealing with, and it should not have any negative impact on your chickens and guineas.
