    Q
Should I use Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate and copper fungicide spray together?
Is the complete fruit tree spray all I need?
    A

Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is a liquid fruit tree spray concentrate containing insecticide, fungicide, aphicide, miticide, scalicide, and spreader sticker all in one solution. Usually you would not add another product to this one. If you did, it would be best to test a small area first for plant tolerance.

    Q
What do you recommend for pear scab now that pear is no longer listed on Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate?
For years I've used Fruit Tree spray 4-122-8590 to control but never eradicate pear scab. A few years ago I started using just Captan 4-459 because I believed using just a fungicide would be less harmful to pollinators. Now I find out that neither is approved for edible pear. What do I use?
    A

You can use Bonide Citrus, Fruit, and Nut Orchard Spray or Triple Action which are both labeled to treat scab on fruit trees including pears.  Avoid spraying when pollinators are in the area to limit contact.

    Q
Is Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate suitable to spray on the ground under apple trees in early spring? Or is Captain Jacks Dead Bug Brew better?
Is it also suitable for pear trees?
    A

Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is applied directly to the trees, not to the soil.  It is not labeled for pears.  Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew is labeled for both apples and pears, but again would be applied to the tree itself, not the soil.

Will Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate kill ants?
    A

Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is not labeled for ants.  We would suggest Advance 375A to apply around the base of the tree.  The ants will take this product back to the nest where it can be fed to the queen and eliminate the colony.
