There are no temperature restrictions when applying Bonide Systemic Insect Control, however it is always recommended to apply early in the morning or later in the evening so as to not be applying the product in direct sunlight or when termpertures are at their hottest during the day. We do not recommend using insecticides any time temperatures are at, below, or near freezing since insects will not be active during these times.

This can be a difficult pest to control on infested plants, so the best prevention is good sanitation and elimination of infested plants. We do not recommend treating with Bonide Systemic Insect Control during the heat of the day when temperatures are above 90 degrees. Treating when the temperature is 75 degrees will work better.
Basil treated with Bonide Systemic Insect Control should NOT be consumed. You should discard any that was sprayed.
