Extremely please with the product and more importantly the customer service from the ones giving the advice on how to treat our 170 year old log cabin for termites. Boracare is not so easy to deal with as it is as thick as honey, and pouring it takes time. What I love about it is that it's the most ecofriendly pesticide around. I used it for preventative treatment of my deck.

I put this in my barn that had some powder beetles. I think it worked I haven't had any powder on the vehicles. I would recommend covering EVERYTHING before you spray, I had most of the important stuff out of there but there is a sticky film left on anything left. I should have expected that after the mixing but just wanted to get it done. It washes off pretty easy with some warm water so not a huge deal just be aware.

The thick liquid mixed and sprayed well but I do not know if it is working to kill power post beetles.

Product is thick, but if you use a mixer attachment on your drill its simple and easy. Follow the instructions. The product goes on like water and is absorbed into the wood completely within a few hours. Only time will tell if it prevents termites from eating the wood.

works great easy to put on dry wood during remodel.I used paint brush to make sure i get every part of wood.

Easy to mix and apply. Found that too much pressure caused the sprayer to drip. Powderpost beetle activity way down; three weeks later only one small re-emergence which is described as normal. Very pleased!!

Our pest control tech recommended Bora Care for an infestation of powder post Beatles in my work bench. Ordered the gallon (have some ash lumber to treat also) and mixed a cup of Bora Care and 2 cups of water, easy job. Brushed it on both sides of the bench top after sanding and the powering stopped and after a month none to be found.

Follow the instructions to mix the product and it applies very easily. I was able to treat the walls in a 15' x 25' room from the floor up to 3' and had plenty left over. Shipping was extremely fast.

We had a major infestation of powder post beetles and ants in our outdoor shed. We had an exterminator come and treat the shed as we felt it was just an overwhelming amount of bugs for us to handle ourselves. He used Tim-Bor for the beetles. After about 6 weeks, we decided to remove everything from the shed again and spray with Bora-Care just to be certain. We soaked the shed floor and studs halfway up. They had even eaten into the finished wood of an old mechanic's creeper!!!! This site had the best price for the Bora-Care plus lots and lots of useful information about the beetles.

Based on the the description I anticipate great results. For the value, it is much better than calling pest service. Ive used this product for years, and haven't seen any new termites.

I've been collecting reclaimed lumber for 5 years and learned a few hard lessons about treating it immediately! This last batch I got I staged and sprayed after seeing termites and beetles. The next day I inspected everything and as expected the Boracare worked perfectly! I mixed mine in a 3:1 ration in hot water and applied it with an Ortho backpack sprayer using a wide broadcast sprayer. Will definitely be buying more!

While I am not a termite, I cannot tell you if this stuff is effective. What I can tell you is that I have ordered this product three times as I treat new and exposed wood as I seriously remodel my house and each time I order, the process is mindlessly simple and the product delivery time is quick. Plus, the online help is great for a do-it-yourself person such as myself. Would I reorder this product? Yes. Am I going to buy a different product from this company? Yes.

This order arrived in just two days on a weekend. I've ordered a few gallon of this stuff (one at a time) and it's always here in two days flat. It's not cheap, but any termite treatment is awfully expensive. I really hope that this stuff really works. I'd hate to see termites eating the new construction wood.
