Yes, Bora-Care with Mold-Care can be applied after an application of Bora-Care was applied to raw wood and dried as long as the wood has not been sealed, varnished, painted or stained.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care can only be applied to raw unpainted wood. It would be ineffective if applied to a painted surface. Mold Clean would be used to remove any stains caused by mold and mildew. Eliminating the moisture issue that is causing the mold is key for prevention on this type of area.
If a mask is needed while applying Bora-Care with Mold-Care it would be best to use something like the Comfo Classic Respirator. This is generally only required if you are applying overhead or in areas where there is not fresh free flowing air.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care is safe when used as directed. It is best to wear a mask, gloves and long sleeves if you are going to be applying the Bora-Care with Mold-Care over head where it may drip on you. A respirator is also the best option if in an area where you cannot get to fresh free flowing air or ventilation is poor. If skin contact is made removed any containimated clothing and rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes per the SDS.
The Mold Care is only sold with the Bora-Care with Mold-Care bottle and not separately.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care would be the only product we have that can protect wood from fungi, mold and wood boring insects such as termites and others listed on the label.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care does not smell like bleach. The only way to tell if it was treated with the product is to confirm with the company that made the application (or if they used a dye indicator at the time of application-would notice on the wood surface).
If you have applied Bora-Care with Mold-Care to the point of runoff with dripping to the ground, the excess runoff should be wiped up with a damp cloth with warm, soapy water. If it is a few drops that are contained on the wood, that will eventually absorb into the wood and still create a smooth, even surface.

As long as the wood that was treated with Bora-Care with Mold-Care was applied as directed and has had time to completely dry, the application will not affect stains/paints/sealants that are applied after.
You typically want to plane/sand before applying Bora-Care with Mold-Care, as doing so after would be removing layers of protection, but as long as the wood has dried, you can plane/sand and finish the wood. It usually takes 24-72 hours to dry fully.
When using Mold-Clean before your Bora-Care with Mold-Care application, it should NOT be allowed to dry on wood - it has to be washed or rinsed off in order for it to work correctly. The product label states, it should be applied liberally to the point of runoff to wood or other surfaces using a low pressure (15-20 psi) sprayer. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 5-10 minutes, then thoroughly rinse with water using a high-pressure stream.
Bora-Care with Mold Care will kill and prevent decay fungi when used at a 5:1 ratio as instructed. The first thing to do would be to take care of the moisture issue causing the problem. Then, you would apply the product following the instrucations on the product label. If you also have active wood decay or active wood destroying insects in the wood, you would need to treat with regular Boracare at at 1:1 ratio first to eliminate the current issue. Then you can follow up with the 5:1 rate of Boracare with Moldcare as that product can only be used at that ratio.
Per the SDS, Bora-Care with Mold-Care has little to no risk of flammability but we would not recommend applying this product near open flames.
Boracare with Moldcare must be mixed at a ration of 1 gallon of Boracare with Moldcare to 5 gallons of water to be effective. BoraCare with Mold Care can remain stable for up to 30 days after it is mixed.
Boracare with Mold-Care can only be applied to raw natural wood that has no finish on it, or to concrete area such as along the foundation where structural supports and framing will go. Boracare with Mold Care would not adhere to or work on foam or plastic, or any other material similar to that. Mold will only grow where there is a moisture problem, as long as there are no leaks or issues causing excess moisture to collect and stay in the walls you shouldn't have an issue with mold. Installing good vapor barriers and dehumidifiers can assist with preventing this as well.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care needs to be applied to raw or untreated wood. You will need to sand off the rest of the stain in any areas it remains. Once the application has dried on the surface you will want to restain or seal the wood to keep the product locked within over time.
Bora-Care with Mold-Care can be applied in any temperature as long as it is not below freezing. However, the warmer the temperature the easier it will be to mix and apply the product because of its thick consistency.
While treating the attic with Bora-Care with Mold-Care, turn off any HVAC systems. Let the treatment dry for 1-2 hours then the unit can be turned back on.
