I purchased 2 of these guns. One for me and one for my son(37 yrs old). We have so much fun with these guns out on the deck. My neighbor saw these guns and he ordered some. The customer service was great and the shipping was extremely FAST. Thanks for a fun product.

For months on end I had a problem with flies landing on my monitor. That sort of thing becomes maddening. My poor monitor almost got punched more than once. So I ordered this thing. Up until the day before it arrived, the flies kept landing on the monitor. And the day it came, the flies stopped. The only thing this has been fired at is the palm of my hand (it stings). Oh, and it was tried on the monitor to see if it would damage it (it didn't). But it's apparently an utterly fantastic fly repellent. Maybe they all moved out when they heard it was coming.

Really interesting and fun way to annihilate fly's and other small insects. I tested firing into a sheet of Aluminum foil. Pattern is good. Haven't seen any residual salt. Works in corners and places where fly swatters don't. Gun is far enough away to not cause the bug to fly off. The only negative is the size vs the fly swatter. And its a good conversation piece to boot!

I bought 2 one for a friend, after around 1000 shots both guns failed. At $50.00 dollars that is about $0.05 cents per shot. The salt dust gets into the air cylinder with the rubber seal and eats it up. Suggest you use a coarser salt. It is a lot of fun and is effective until it fails.

Purchased three after seeing and using a friends salt rifle. Gave step son and so in law one, then kept the last one for me. A guy gift!

The idea of eradicating flies is great. I only have 2 ideas to improve and update the pump bug asalt gun. While traing my kids how to safely operate the gun, we encountered a bit of difficulty cocking the gun. can the slide be lubricated? Plus I have a fly shatter with a dead fly tweezers in the handle. maybe you could incorporate a feature similar to that. Otherwise, the bug asalt is great. Practice on things to find your range and how the salt pattern is.

I am very pleased with the Bug gun. Having multiple shots is much more fun than the old single shot way. I have lots of daddy long leg spiders around my place, and the Bug-A-Salt makes short work of them. It's my form of hunting without leaving home. Thanks for a new slant on an old problem.

I'm always having trouble killing flies in the house. This gun is excellent for taking out those nasty critters. I did find that sea salt is more effective at killing flies and yellow jackets as it is a bit more coarse than table salt and has greater impact.

My husband is the Fly sniper since I bought him the Bug a salt gun. I think he leaves the door open on purpose , just so those Darn Flies can come in. And I went to fill the salt shaker and I had no salt in the pantry, what did I say honey!!!!! HE SAYS what? It was Rusty the dog. Anyway my husband totally enjoys this gun he says Chris Kyle has nothing on him. Great product the only thing that that could make it better if it had a vacuum attached.

The two times I used the product it was cool. After one full charge of salt it no longer worked. Rush out Ang get you a $50 mellow piece of plastic

open up the package and you know your on a mission to wipe out insect . I took out a spider one shot one kill .. Can't wait for summer . Take out a couple flies ..love the weapon .. Need a granade launcher now ! For the big ones . Rats ...

Got mine today and eliminated dozens of flies. For each dispatched adolescent fly, hundreds of thousands of potential maggots were never laid. Also dismissed a poisonous spider (recluse). Better than sliced bread. I'm going to order more as gifts.

Save your money. It was fun to shot but would not take down a fly in flight. Had to get 2" away from a bee in the window to kill it. Not worth the money.

A fun toy I received as a birthday present from my brother. Great for eliminating spiders and flies in the house and garage. Super glued a section of rail on top. Now I have the only one around with a laser, for night use. Can do without the safety....

This thing is simply cool. A great way to get those pesky flies without swinging and swiping like a mad man, smearing fly guts on everything. This gun is built very well. Heavy plastic that you can feel right off. Decent ranges and uses just the right amount of salt without shooting it everywhere. Would buy again.

Takes a little practice but loads of fun, Killing those nasty flies. I was surprised on the high quality of the gun. It does not harm furniture, walls, exc. It's worth the money.

One of the "Most Fun" purchases I've ever made. I got one as an early Christmas present and it was at the peak of the fly season. I've killed hundreds of them with no chasing or stalking required and it all cost two or three cents for ammo! I immediately bought four more to give as gifts to those I really like. Just cant wait to see how it does on carpenter bees. That will classify as "Big Game" and I'll put them arbitrarily in the Big Four category! Buy one (or five)! You'll love it!!!

Reasonably effective at up to about 12-14 inches but can eventually succeed with a few shots at greater range. Shooting is so much fun that needing a few shots is not a problem. Have not yet mastered the in-flight knockdown but looking forward to springtime. Seems to inflict no damage to surfaces, wallpaper, etc. A great fun way to get rid of household insects. Highly recommended.

If you want to kill bugs with a gun, and save yourself some $$!! Go find a cheap pellet gun(Walmart usually has them for $15-$20. Pull the end off of Q-tip and use as a "wad" pushing down with small chopstick*. Put aprox. 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of salt (I prefer coarse)down gun barrel. Pack down with chopstick planning to shoot downward, pack small amount of other end of Q-tip down on top. BE CAREFUL!! Depending on # of pumps, can shoot into skin(OOOUCH!). This will save $ and take down a cicada! Or any large, non-armored bug. ENJOY!!! *If chopstick is too wide, simply shave strips off with knife until thin enough.

I am passionate hunter with all sorts of rifles for hunting everything. This has got to be one of my favourite guns. My wife shot a wolf spider from about 1 ft away and the spider shattered. So well worth the fun and it's very effective. You can shoot a little further than 3 ft also. Not bad accuracy at all. I got the camo bug a salt.

I have the 2.0 camo edition. I absolutely love this thing. I don't know if it was made to kill wasps or not but it will, and I usually camp out by a pile of dog doo and kill flies when I get bored. It has provided me with hours of entertainment.
