I have a locust tree that measures 150” diameter. I'll have to apply 150 ounces of product I figure I should dilute it 4/1?
For trees, you will use 1 fl oz per inch of distance around the trunk therefore yes, if the tree measures 150 inches around the trunk at the height 4.5ft from the ground, you will mix 150 fl oz (1.2 gallons) of Bio Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed Concentrate in 2 gallons of water. Slowly pour the mixed solution evenly around the tree starting as close to the TRUNK/main stem of the tree/shrub as possible staying within 3 to 4 ft of the base of the tree. Then, fill the bucket with clean water and pour it around the trunk as well. NOTE: Bio Advanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed Concentrate has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The granule formulation (BioAdvanced 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed II Granules) are still available.
