Dylox 420 SL Insecticide is best applied when grubs currently present in the lawn and actively feeding. Apply at 6.9 fl oz in 2 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. Refer to page 7 on the product label for more information. 

For preventative grub control, Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules or Merit 2F Insecticide is recommended to get early control of grubs in the lawn. Apply in mid June – mid July prior to grub egg hatch. Typically grub egg hatch occurs in late July through August however timing can vary depending on the region.
