Christine from Chicago, Il writes

Can Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide be used inside the house?

No pets or kids.

Answer:

While we generally do not advise baiting indoors for rodents and recommend using traps such as snap traps or glue boards so that you can easily locate and remove any dead rodents, the Flatline Soft Bait Rodenticide can be used indoors as stated on the product label. If baiting indoors, even with no pets or kids in the home – tamper resistant bait stations should still be used to help secure the rodent bait and help to monitor the treatment process easier. Unsecured bait pouches or bait blox increase the risk of a rodent taking the bait back to the nest which will not allow you to monitor if they are still feeding on the bait or if they are elimianted. For Mice, the MBS-1 Mouse Bait Stations or the Protecta RTU Mouse Bait Stations would be great options. Per the Flatline Soft Bait product label, when baiting indoors, determine areas where rodents are most likely to consume bait ats, mice, and/or meadow voles* will most likely find and consume bait. Generally, these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors or walls, beside burrows, or in locations where signs of rats, mice, and/or meadow voles* have been observed. Remove as much alternative food as possible.  View our Mice Treatment Guide for more information.
