The Captan 50WP Fungicide is a product that can be readily mixed with water and be used for spray applications. This wettable powder is used for the control of fruit and ornamental crops, listed fungus diseases and as a soil treatment for a variety of seed rots and damping-off diseases. Captan 50WP Fungicide can be used to control black spots, bitter rot, brown patch, fly speck, botrytis, rust, scab, seedling blights and other fruit, vegetable and ornamental diseases. The product can also be combined with commonly used fungicides and insecticides for faster and more effective results and is available in a 5-lb. bag.

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage, disposal or cleaning of equipment. Open dumping is prohibited. Do not reuse empty container.
PESTICIDE STORAGE: Keep pesticide in original container. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Protect from excessive heat. Store in a cool, dry place.
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law.
CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Completely empty container into application equipment. Offer for recycling, if available, or dispose of empty container in a sanitary landfill or by incineration, or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

Captan old reliable fungicide

Captan is a very reliable fungicide and does a great job in the garden, on flowers, and on fruit trees. I often add an insecticide to the spray. Buying in bulk is economical. The only drawback to Captan is the mixing and keeping the spray mixed while using. I find mixing the power in a bucket of water before adding to spray tank is better than mixing in the tank.
