The Chapin 100 Pound Professional Salt and Ice Melt Spreader (82108B) is an efficient spreader designed to handle salt and halite. Its robust stainless steel frame supports its 100-pound capacity hopper. It has an enclosed gear system with a grease fitting that allows the spreader to withstand elements. The 14-inch pneumatic tires are capable of navigating any terrain. The system's front and side baffles give precise control of spread patterns. Clumps can be torn apart by its spiky auger.  It has a protective snow and rain cover included. Do not use it for handling rock salt and sand.
