    It will depend how much pressure you build up in the sprayer. When you build up a lot of pressure in the Chapin Industrial Stainless Steel 2 Gallon (#1739), it will spray out about 10 feet. If you need a sprayer that can spray a longer distance, you should consider the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer which allows you to reach targets over 30 feet away. The Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer offers maximum portability and can be used in any container simply by dropping the weighted strainer into the solution and pumping with the slide pump.

    Is there a trick to removing and replacing the lid on the Chapin Industrial Stainless Steel 2 Gallon (#1739)?
    I know you just put the lid on, press down and turn, but I can't get it to work. Should the pump be up, down etc. I have only used it twice before and had the same issue. Somehow I did finally get it to work. I know it is me!

    We recommend that you call the manufacturer, Chapin 800-444-3140 ext 2 – Customer Service. The customer service representatives at Chapin are great and they will walk you through the correct procedure for removing and replacing the lid correctly.

    Does the unit have a draw tube that siphons from the bottom of the tank or is the contents expelled by pressure only?

    The Chapin Industrial Stainless Steel 2 Gallon does have a siphon tube that allows for the insecticide to be pulled from the bottom of the tank.

    Does the Stainless Steel 2 Gallon (#1739) have some type of button to de-pressurize it without unscrewing the top?

    The Chapin Industrial Stainless Steel 2 Gallon (#1739) does not have a pressure release valve, however the lid is designed to release gradually so that air pressure can release before the lid is completely off the unit.
