The Chapin Industrial Stainless Steel sprayer is heavy duty and very high quality unit. The tank is heavy weight stainless and the pump is brass. Chapin uses a Tri-Lock to seal the pump handle to the tank. The Tri-Lock is built to last. The rubber hose is clamped to a stainless nipple coming from the tank which makes for a strong and long lasting connection. The Chapin plastic tank sprayers use a much cheaper and weaker system. The plastic tanks have a threaded hole in them. Then a plastic threaded adapter screws into the tank and the rubber hose clamps to the adapter. My old sprayer tipped over and pulled on the adapter which ruined the tank. The stainless sprayer is built for professional use and will last if it tips over. You will need the separate Chapin fan tip if that pattern is needed. Forget the other sprayers, buy the best and it will last for years!!

I work as a pest control tech. I bought this sprayer instead of the B&G to save money but should have spent the extra. It worked ok for a month but then started leaking a lot from the nozzle. I called Chapin and they sent me a couple extra nozzles (good cust service) but alas they leaked too. Now i'll probably order the B&G anyway.

Quality product (MADE IN U.S.A.) that worked like a charm! Worth the price paid. It's made of stainless steel(canister and hose clamps) with a brass wand/trigger, and a nylon strap so there are no concerns about corrosion. The eradication of the weeds in my driveway,sidewalk,garden,and around the swimming pool were made effortless! The canister is provided with a shoulder strap and when filled doesn't feel burdensome when it is carried throughout this chore. I used St. Gabriel Organics Burnout II Fast Acting Weed and Grass Killer, which is Child and Pet Safe! The liquid has a slight viscosity to it but flowed through the adjustable spray wand/nozzle without interruption. The pump handle is solid (powder coated enamel) and kept the spray pressure consistent. My only complaint (hence the 4 Star Rating) was a minor 3" dent on the canister. Possibly caused during shipping. I removed this dent with a rubber mallet by tapping it out from the inside. Had this dent been larger I would've returned the item for a replacement. Above and beyond the dent issue, I had courteous and professional service (5 Star Rating) when placing my order. If you want to be a satisfied customer like me, shop here folks. Kind regards to all!
