Chapin Hose-end Sprayer G362D
By Walter on 07/21/2023
A great hose-end sprayer with a simplistic metering system. One major problem: The gasket between the adapter and bottle swells when exposed to the commonly used pesticide "Malathion." To date, I am waiting for Chapin to respond after submitting their request for the Malathion Safety Date Sheet (SDS).

Better then the first one I bought
By Bob on 03/25/2023
It was difficult to pick one since they look the same online. I bought one that was more of a green color the first time. I like this one because it has more durable, metal, parts. Also, it seems to just plain work better. As you swing it side to side the reservoir stays upright, even as you rotate the sprayer. The deflector can be rotated as well. I keep it cock as an angel, which allows the spray to cover near/far at the same time.

Terrible!

I don’t understand how this has such good reviews. I suppose it does do what it says it does, but there are significant design flaws: the nozzle is only capable of spraying one pattern, a huge downward fan. It is absolutely incapable of precision, you have to soak everything in front of you. Second, it spins around the the handle. This is extremely annoying! You can’t turn your hose without the reservoir tilting all over the place. That wouldn’t be so bad but combined with that fan-only nozzle it becomes impossible to control what you spray. Not only that but this thing simply just leaks whatever is in the reservoir, so when it spins all of a sudden it’s leaking all over your hand….and to top it all off there is no way to set this thing down. It’s not balanced and with the twice mentioned spinning quirk, plus the leaking, you can’t set your hose down. If you buy this be prepared to be covered in whatever you are spraying, to spray a lot of stuff you don’t want to spray, and to lose a lot of whatever liquid you are using, usually onto your hands. I can’t understand anyone actually liking this product, and it’s crazy that it’s all I can really find. That nozzle in particular is just such a poor design choice I’m flabbergasted
