This Compost Wizard Hybrid has both of two worlds! It is a combination of a rain barrel (Rain Wizard 50) and a compost tumbler (Compost Wizard Jr Compost Tumbler) in one. This design cuts down costs and saves space by reducing your footprint. This is the perfect product for the eco-conscious consumer by giving back to the planet. It is made out of recycled plastic and doing your own composting helps out the environment. When the top compost bin is rotated, the excess compost tea from the compost is squeezed out and flows to the base and goes into the barrel. It then mixes directly with the rain water that is stored there from the gutters to form nutrient packed plant food.
When you want to compost, just add ingredients through the 12'' lid and turn it a few times. When the batch stays between 100-150 degrees F, compost will be ready anytime from 2-6 weeks. This rain barrel will hold up to 47 gallons of rain water and compost tea which will be great for making compost. Just install the spigot (included), and position it however you like and then it is ready to be used. Let your hybrid be leveled when placed and it should be able to work with no problems. This will look great in your backyard or garden.

Average Customer Rating
Great product, questionable pack/ship
By Roger on 04/08/2017
The product itself is a brilliant idea. It's easy to set up and works great. It was shipped in boxes that looked like they've been used for multiple shipments. The boxes were filthy and crushed, like they were stored in someone's garage for years. The rain barrel was never cleaned out after drilling all the holes, so there were chunks of plastic inside that would have gotten clogged in the spigot if I hadn't cleaned them out first. Then the company sent me a second set of these two weeks after I got the first one. Very disorganized.
