    Q
Is Conquer effective against peach tree borer?
    A
Conquer is not labeled to be used on peach trees.  You can use a product that contains permethrin but it must be labeled for use on non bearing edible vegetation such as Tengard SFR. Unfortunately once the beetles have already infested the bark of a peach tree there are not any viable treatment options. In cases of infestation the general recommendation is to simply protect the surrounding trees with preventative sprays with a product labeled for such a use.

    Q
    Conquer use for lice
    A

Conquer Liquid Insecticide is not labeled for lice on people, there are products you can purchase over the counter for that treatment or contact your doctor.   In reality, lice cannot live off of a human and in the environment. Every pest has a specific way its biology works, what it needs to survive or thrive, and how its life cycle progresses. In the case of lice, they are not going to survive in the home as a home is not a condusive environment for them. They need the moisture and heat our bodies provide, and that direct contact to our bodies, to maintain life. We recommend reading over our article that goes into this a little more in detail and links the only product we recommend for these situations.

    Q
Should I use a pull behind sprayer to apply Conquer?
I have a large yard, and I sprayed two ounces of Conquer in 15 gallons in a Fimco pull behind sprayer per every 2,500 square feet. Was that correct? I'm not really getting the kill I expected. The dog goes out and comes back with fleas, and we treat her with Advantage.
    A
Most flea infestations require at least two applications. For best results, lawn should be mowed a day or two before spraying. Spray using a slow, even sweeping motion, being sure to cover the entire lawn surface where your pets will normally frequent. Spray under ornamentals and trees and in other moist shady areas. You may also consider adding an IGR such as Archer. Archer IGRs unique mode of action disrupts the life cycle of fleas and ticks and can help eliminate infestations faster

    Q
Can Archer/Conquer be sprayed on our/children bedding? Should we leave the house after we spray?
How dangerous is it for us to ingest or walk through the areas that have been sprayed?
    A
Archer and Conquer should not be sprayed on bedding. Simply washing and drying the bedding on high heat will kill fleas and flea eggs. The combination of Archer and Conquer is safe when used as directed on the product labels and the products have had time to dry before you contact treated areas.

    Q
How much Conquer Liquid Insecticide do I mix per gallon of for water bugs? Can it be used undiluted?
    A

Conquer Liquid Insecticide must be diluted with water at 1-2 fl oz per gallon of water. It can be applied to interior cracks and crevices and outdoors as well as directed on the product label. This product alone will not keep them away forever but if they contact the treated areas they will be eradicated. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Roaches and How to Prevent Roaches for a successful eradication program.

    Q
Is Conquer Insecticide safe for puppies?
We have our house treated once a month for the last 20 years. We have had house dogs all that time. However we just got a new 12 week old Dachy and today she was very sick, throwing us several times this morning. She has been totally healthy since birth. Yesterday the Bug Man sprayed for his monthly appointment. He uses Conquer. Could this be harmful to the puppy.
    A

Pets should always be kept out of the areas while treating and until the application has completely dried however, any animal could be sensitive to any product, including Conquer Liquid Insecticide.

We recommend that you consult your vet if you have any concerns about your pet. You can view the Safety Data Sheet for Conquer insecticide here

You may request that your pest control professional switch to a water-based insecticide or different active ingredient, especially if the same product has been used for many years.

    Q
Is conquer good for German roach flush outs ?
I am using a portable B&G aerosol sprayer and needed to use a kill on contact concentrate insecticide that mixes with water. Is conquer the right concentrate?
    A
While Conquer Liquid Insecticide is a great product and its oil based solution may irritate the roaches a bit more than a water based solution in that type of application, its still a residual insecticide and does not have contact kill properties. You would need a product like ExciteR Insecticide which contains Pyrethrin and PBO to achieve contact kill and flushing effects when treating.
