Bifen IT should eradicate clover mites. It may be that you are dealing with another species of mite. We highly recommend getting the mite properly identified by your local cooperative extension office to be sure. Please click on the link below for their contact information.

Conquer Liquid Insecticide is not labeled for scale. I would recommend using Zylam Liquid Systemic that is labeled for a number of scale including Elongated Hemlock Scale. The active ingredient is Dinotefuran. If you need any other information on Zylam Liquid Systemic you can look at the product label provided on our website.
After applying Conquer Liquid Insecticide, you will want to leave the treated area until the surfaces are completely dried and properly ventilated which should take a couple of hours.
If needed, you can repeat application in 7-14 day intervals using Conquer. Nyguard leaves a 7 month residual. We do not recommend using Conquer Liquid Insecticide on hardwood floors. If you need more information on indoor and outdoor flea control, please read over our articles on Outdoor Flea Control and Indoor Flea Control .
Conquer Liquid Insecticide is not an insect growth regulator; it is an adulticide. If the area you want to spray remains wet for long periods of time, you should not apply Conquer or similar insecticides in that area. Altosid Pro-G Granules is an IGR that can be used in some areas where insecticides cannot be sprayed. Be sure to follow the product label when using Altosid. Eliminating the breeding sites is ultimately the best solution. Please see our Mosquito Treatment Guide for more information about mosquito treatment.
Conquer will start working immediately on the roaches that come into contact with the treated surfaces. It is not a contact kill so they will not die as soon as they touch it, but it will start to work on their system and will start getting weaker and dying within a few hours of contact. We recommend that in addition to a concentrated liquid insecticide like Conquer you also use a high quality roach bait gel such as Invict Roach Bait Gel to help get the roaches that hide in places where you cannot spray (cabinets, counter tops, drawers) as well as an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol Point Source to help stop the breeding cycle of the roaches. Take a look at our article on How To Get Rid of Roaches to get an explanation of the complete treatment needed to eliminate them.

The insects have to contact the areas that were treated with the Conquer Liquid Insecticide to be eradicated. It is not a non-repellent that is transferred to the other members of the colony. Arilon would be a great product to apply to interior and exterior areas to transfer like a bait, depending on what pest you are treating.
Conquer Liquid Insecticide needs to be applied when you are not expecting rain for 24hrs. It is recommended for yard treatments the lawn be mowed 1-2 days before application. We would recommend applying Conquer Liquid Insecticide after the lawn has been mowed and not wet. Please refer to the product label for instructions for the specific pest you are treating.
