Contrac Meal Place Pack (174 x 1.5 oz place pack) is the perfect solution to your rodent control problems. It contains Bromadiolone as its active ingredient and it effectively controls mice and rats, even warfarin-resistant Norway rats. This bait in a special pellet formulation contains food-grade ingredients, grains, and seeds to help attract rodents more efficiently. In just one feeding, mice and rats can consume a lethal dose of Contrac and get completely eliminated. It is ideal to use in sensitive areas where rodents might possibly transport the bait. It can be placed where rodents frequent like gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, corners, and concealed places, between floors and walls.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS:
Determine areas where rats or mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where signs of rats or house mice have been seen. Protect bait from rain and snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:
RATS:
Apply 2 to 10 Place Pacs at intervals of 15 to 30 feet per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease to appear.
MICE:
Place 1 Place Pac at 8 to 12 foot intervals. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease to appear.
FOLLOW-UP:
Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
WHEN USED IN USDA FACILITIES, THIS PRODUCT MUST BE APPLIED IN TAMPER-RESISTANT BAIT STATIONS.

My last resort.

I don't know how mice treatments can be complete without contrac meal. It's my clutch rodenticide. My confidence booster. I know people shy away from them because they're pricey but I'll rather get it right the first and make a good impression. To little people like me,integrity is everything.

You do not tear open the Contrac Meal Place Pack Box (174 x 1.5 oz pack). The rodents will eat through the paper to get to the meal.

Contrac can be toxic to animals if enough is consumed, although an antidote, Vitamin K1 is readily available from your vet. If you believe your pet consumed any amount of this product, it is important to contact your vet or pet poison control as soon as possible
The risk of secondary poisoning with Contrac is very minimal. A rodent only consumes a very small amount of bait at a time and passes it very quickly only keeping a smaller amount in their liver until they succumb to the effects of the bait. A pet would have to actually eat 20-30 rodents that have consumed the bait for it to have an effect. In most cases well fed domesticated animals will not actually eat a mouse or a rat that they come across. Instead they will play with it, chew it and then leave it behind.
