Crossbow Herbicide is not labeled specifically for palmetto or palm bushes, however it should work well to stop new growth if you cut the plants down and then apply Crossbow directly to the freshly cut stumps. Depending on how large the plants are, you may still need to physically dig up or grind down large stumps.
Crossbow Herbicide is not labeled for use on poison hemlock, so we would not recommend it for that application. It is labeled for use on tansy ragwort at the rate of 2 quarts per Acre. Since this is a biennial weed, the recommend timing for best results is when the plants are in the rosette stage.
For poison hemlock control, you will usually need a product with more 2,4-D. Opti-Amine 2,4-D is labeled for use on poison hemlock.
Crossbow Herbicide could injure desirable ornamentals plants. Care should be taken to avid any contact and very carefully spot treat the weeds directly in these areas.
According to this extension article a product containing triclopyr or 2, 4-d would work on killing palmetto plants. Our Crossbow Specialty Herbicide - 2, 4-D & Triclopyr has both active ingredients and would work just fine. It could take a few applications to fully eradicate.
Crossbow can be applied by all types of sprayers, from hand-held models to tractor-mounted spray rigs. While we don't talk to a lot of customers using that method of application equipment, there is nothing prohibiting the product from being used that way for their direct spot treatment needs.
Crossbow Herbicide does contain an active ingredient that has soil residual. Per the product label: "This chemical has properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination."
If you are applying the product as directed to apply to fresh cut stumps, then there should not be a risk of contamination in most circumstances. However, this product is not labeled for use around aquatic areas or where there is risk of flooding.

Crossbow should not harm established trees but may damage younger trees if applied directly to them. To avoid injury, do not apply directly on or within the drip line of smaller trees and avoid the foliage and any exposed roots of mature trees. It is best to carefully spot treat the target plants to avoid injury to your desirable trees.
Crossbow may be combined with liquid nitrogen fertilizer suitable for foliar application to accomplish weeding and feeding of grass pastures in one operation per the product label. Use Crossbow in accordance with recommendations for grass pastures as given on this label. Use liquid fertilizer at rates recommended by supplier or Extension Service Specialist. Test for mixing compatibility using desired procedure and spray mix proportions in clear glass jar before mixing in spray tank. A compatibility aid such as Unite or Compex may be needed in some situations. Compatibility is best with straight liquid nitrogen fertilizer solutions. Mixing with N-P-K solutions or suspensions may not be satisfactory even with the addition of compatibility aid. Premixing Crossbow* with 1 to 4 parts water may help in difficult situations. Fill the spray tank about half full with the liquid fertilizer, then add the herbicide with agitation and complete filling the tank with fertilizer. Apply immediately and continue agitation in the spray tank during application. Do not store spray mixture. Application during very cold weather (near freezing) is not advisable.

Unfortunately, chameleon or Saururaceae, h. cordata, is an invasive species that is very aggressive and difficult to control. Because this plant spreads from underground rhizomes, you will not be able to control it by pulling or mowing. I have not been able to find any products that specifically list this plant on the label, and there is very little information from US sources on management of this plant. We would recommend trying RoundUp QuikPro, a non-selective herbicide with two active ingredients, or Southern Ag Brush Killer. These are excellent active ingredients that will damage most plants. You would want to give either product 10-14 days to see results. Be sure to give the plants enough time to die completely before tilling or disturbing the soil where they were growing.
Bamboo is very difficult to kill since its roots grow so deep. We have heard if you cut down the bamboo level with the ground and apply Crossbow or a similar Triclopyr based product undiluted to the fresh-cut stump it can help kill it out. Bamboo is extremely stubborn, so it can take several steps to remove it completely. You can use also look at using Round Up QuickPro at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminate bamboo. You will still be required to cut the bamboo down to a short stump and then apply the Round-Up QuickPro. It can take several applications to achieve the desired results.
Applying herbicides such as Helena Crossbow Herbicide in higher temps can cause burning/injury to your turf and would not be as effective since the weeds are heat stressed and would not absorb well.
