    Will Crossfire work on camel spiders?
    A

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is only labeled for bed bug control. For camel spiders, or spiders in general, control you can use Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide.

    I purchased Gentrol IGR and Crossfire. Am I able to mix these two products together in one gallon sprayer or should I apply one and then the other separately?
    A

    Yes you can mix Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate and ?Gentrol IGR together to treat surrounding areas. Gentrol IGR is to be mixed at 1oz per gallon of water and reapplied every 2 weeks for active infestations (ex. bed bugs).

    Can I use Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate in an actisol ULD unit?
    A

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is not recommended to be applied in an Actisol machine. We do offer Crossfire in the liquid that is diluted and sprayed with a pump sprayer and it comes in an aerosol too.

    Should I vacuum Diatomaceous Earth dust before applying crossfire?
    A

    You can use both products in the same treatment plan as long as they do not overlap with one another. Diatomaceous Earth Dust is more for areas where you cannot spray a liquid and does not have to be vacuumed. For example: outlet areas, etc. Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate can be applied to cracks crevices of the room, bed frame, night stands, etc.

    Should you leave the bed mattress and box springs open to air after treating with Crossfire before putting back in place?
    After using crossfire, how long should you wait before vacuuming, and should you use mattress and box spring covers?

    Yes, after treatment with Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate it would be advised to allow furniture items to dry completely before putting pillows, cushions, mattresses, etc back into place to avoid any added moisture issues or cause any mold or mildew growth.

    Do you have to stay out of house after spraying Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate?
    A

    It is not necessary to leave the home, but everyone other than the applicator should be out of the direct area where Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is being applied and should remain out until all surfaces are dry.

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is not labeled for use with an Actisol unit. It is recommended to use a sprayer to apply this product.

    Can you apply Crossfire on a couch?
    A

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate can be applied to furniture including couches. We recommend applying/testing a small inconspicuous area first to check for staining. You want to make sure it has dried completely before resuming regular activity.

    Does spraying isopropyl alcohol hours after treatment make Crossfire less effective?
    A

    No, isopropyl alcohol will not make a treatment of Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate less effective if it's sprayed hours after. Alcohol will only kill on contact and does not leave a residual.

    What should I use to cover my reef aquariums when using Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate?
    I have 2 fish tanks full of saltwater fish and corals. Should I use plastic and tape or is there a special type of cover?
    A

    Most folks use clingy plastic or plastic with tape to seal edges of the tank when applying Crossfire or other insecticides.  Others have even used towels, blankets or other materials to cover over the plastic when treating with products in the home. We do not offer a special cover for the tanks at this time.

    Will Crossfire kill cockroaches too?

    Does Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate have a harmful smell?
    A

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate should not be inhaled. It is recommended to apply and leave the area for drying and proper ventilation prior to entering treated areas. We do offer safety equipment including masks. Per the SDS, the odor is “sweet.” Once the application is completely dry, then it is fine for people and pets to re-enter the area.

    Is Crossfire concentrate still good if it freezes?
    I'm in Wisconsin and it's cold. Frozen entire large bottle of it. Is it still any good after it's thawed out and then mixed?

    For best results, we recommend storing Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate in a cool, dry place. If it freezes, this may reduce the efficacy.

    Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is not labeled to be broadcast across floors and treatment should only be directed to cracks and crevices and around baseboards.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    After doing a second treatment for Bed Bugs using Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate, I saw more bed bugs.
    I sprayed perimeter of affected rooms with crossfire. No bugs for 19 days. Sprayed a second time as a precaution, and the next day, I saw 3 new bugs on the walls.

    Due to the small cracks and crevices bed bugs harbor in while digesting their blood meal, repeat applications will be needed every 30 days with using Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate. Bed bugs can take months to fully eradicate. We recommend retreating every 30 days with Crossfire, Bedlam Plus, and Cimexa dust.     Will vacuuming after use reduce efficacy of Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate?
    A

    Once areas that have been treated with Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate are dry, it is okay to vacuum.  It is recommended to vacuum before applying, and you should only apply to the carpet perimeter, not across the entire floor.  For more information on eliminating a bed bug infestation, see our step-by-step guide on how to get rid of bed bugs.

    What does Crossfire smell like, and what to do when you run out in the middle of treating a room?
    I have a quick question about the Crossfire residual spray. What does it smell like? I actually have some and the smell kind of reminds me of Elmer's school glue. I'm asking because my boyfriend bought it at a really cheap price, and I've never used it before and wanted to make sure that he didn't buy something counterfeit. Also, I was in the middle of treating a room and ran out of product. What should I do till I get more?
    A

    We honestly wouldn’t know if what he purchased is counterfeit or not but elmers glue is a smell that could sorta be similar to the scent. The SDS from the manufacturer just describes the smell as being somewhat sweet. If you ran out of product you can just make sure that you are keeping things neat and tidy, washing sheets and pillow cases and clothes as needed, vacuuming regularly and looking for any signs of live ones around the room or your belongings. On average one gallon of mixed solution should be enough to treat multiple rooms since you are just focusing on baseboards and crevices, bed frames, and mattress and box springs.
