    Q
Is there a repellant quality to this product?
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be affected by the product though.

    Q
I used Cy-Kick Aerosol for clover mites around outside perimeter of my house
This stuff did not effect CLOVER MITES.I am still seeing them active and unaffected .I used a Diatomaceous Earth in window seals on top of already using CY-kick.
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol is labeled for clover mite control. However, the product label provides instructions for clover mite control INDOORS, not outdoors. Aerosol applications are usually intended for indoors, so this could be why you are not seeing any results with the product. For outdoor treatment of clover mites, we recommend using Talstar P and spraying around window frames and doorframes, on the siding of the home, and out in the lawn. Q
Why is my Cy-Kick aerosol spraying white foam? Is it due to exposure of heat? What can I do?
It does not look good when applying with a white foam residue left after applying. I have 4 full cans doing this.. How can I stop this?
    A

Are you sure that you have regular CyKick Aerosol and not CyKick CS Aerosol? The CyKick CS aerosol has that foaming action because it is an encapsulated spray. The foam will dissipate as the product dries and should not leave any visible residue.

    Q
Can I use Cy-Kick Aerosol to treat springtails in my car?
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol is not specifically labeled for use in a car.  You should be able to treat for springtails in a car by vacuuming thoroughly and keeping the vehicle free of any moisture sources. Springtails need moisture sources to survive. You could also apply Steri-Fab to the upholstery/carpet for a contact kill. Allow to fully dry and ventilate prior to returning inside.

    Q
IfI spray Cy-Kick Aerosol around some flood lights that yellow jackets like to fly around and land near, how long will this last with residual effect after it dries and is exposed to rain?
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol - 17.5 oz.  is not labeled for yellow jacket control. A product like Temprid Ready Spray is labeled for wasps and can have an outdoor residual of up to 30 days or more, depending on the conditions.  Heavy rains can certainly diminish some of the residual, but it really depends on the specific conditions.  It's recommended to find the nest and treat it directly to get rid of the source.  If you're unable to find the nest directly, this can be used in the area you're describing.  If you're looking for a product to treat a larger area, you can try something like Cyzmic.

    Q
Why is Cy-Kick Aerosol not working on roaches?
Its been a week after using Cy-Kick Aerosol and the roaches are not affected at all. They are tap dancing in it lol but they are walking around in the places I sprayed.
    A

Cy-Kick Aerosol  offers a residual control not a contact kill. We do recommend that you offer a professional roach bait gel, insect growth regulator (IGR) and non-chemical methods for roach control. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for a successful program.

    Q
What can I use to kill maggots in a storage room?
A rat died in a rat trap in there and now there are maggots.
    A

You will want to clean out the storage room completely, remove any dead rodents, and locate the source of the maggots. Next, you can apply Cy-Kick aerosol to cracks and crevices.  This will leave a residual that keeps on killing for several weeks.

    Q
I have tiny worms in my kitchen/cabinets and have treated with Cy-Kick Aerosol but still see some. What do i do?
I found tiny worms in my kitchen. They nested underneath my cabinets. We had to saw off the bottom of our cabinets to find their main area. I have taken everything out, vacumed, and wiped down with vinegar, had Orkin come spray, and sprayed Cy Kick 3 different times myself. With the last one being yesterday I still came home to find 2 more dead ones laying in my cabinets. It has been two months and I still have everything out of my cabinets. I desperately want these things gone and want to put my kitchen back together. What can I do?
    A

Without knowing what pest in particular it is that you are finding the larvae/worm form of, its hard to say how many life cycles could potentially be in a crevice somewhere. That being said, as long as you are continuing to find only dead ones and you have any grains or food materials sealed up in air tight containers you can go back to using your cabinets regularly and just watch for any infested materials. Outside of that you could spray in the same cracks and crevices of the cabinets where you used the Cy Kick Aerosol and use Gentrol Aerosol IGR to help stop any reproductive cycle that might be occurring. Keep cleaning and looking for sources of the original infestation to make sure they have all been eliminated.

    Q
What is best for Weevils in my kitchen
I recently discovered weevils in my kitchen. Sadly they were in almost every cabinet in my kitchen. They mainly nested underneath my stove and two cabinets. After spending two weeks taking everything out of my cabinets, vacuming, and cleaning, I have still seen a few come out. I had to destroy trim in my kitchen to get to their main nest. Before putting everyhing back and replacing the trim I want to use a product that will get to the eggs that i cannot reach or see to vacuum or clean. I also want a product that i can leave underneath the cabinets before I replace the trim. Then I have more peace of mind knowing that if any more come out or hatch they will have that there to take care of them or their eggs.
    A

Pantry pests such as weevils can usually be controlled by a thorough cleaning out of all infested products and scrubbing of the infested areas (pay special attention to cracks and crevices) and then applying a residual insecticide such as Cy-Kick Aerosol to the cracks and crevices and also an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol Point Source to the cabinets.  Unfortunately there is nothing that will affect the eggs in the way you have described, but the growth regulator will help stop the breeding process. It can take a couple of months to fully eradicate a pantry pest infestation.
