    How do I know it's not close to expiration of effectiveness?

    Every bottle has a lot # and date of manufacture. Cy-Kick CS has a 5-year shelf life if stored correctly.

    Does this product kill scabies on mattresses?

    Cy-Kick CS is not labeled for scabies mites. You can spray your mattress with Steri-Fab Insecticide.

    Can I spray a large area with a pull-behind sprayer?
    A

    Yes, you can. Just be sure you are applying the Cy-Kick CS using the correct ratio from the label and you are using the correct amount of diluted solution per 1,000 sq ft.

    Is Cy Kick good for dock spiders?
    Have trouble getting rid of spiders on dock and boat.

    For boat docks, there are very few products to use.  Essentria IC Pro Insecticide is a good product that can be applied once a month.

    Can Cy-Kick be mixed with a weed killer in the same tank?
    I have a horrible weed and grasshopper problem along side me garage.

    This will depend on the specific herbicide you want to mix the insecticide with. We normally do not recommend tank-mixing insecticides and herbicides, in general, so you do not possibly stress your lawn, however, the label does not state the Cy-Kick CS cannot be tank-mixed. If the product label of the herbicide you choose to use states that it can be tank mixed with an insecticide, then we would recommend doing a small jar test and treating a small area first to be sure the products will be compatible and not harm your lawn.

    I have been running the bifen I/t with exciter and was wondering about switching to cy-kick CS exciter combo for a longer residual. Using the same application process for mosquito control. Or do you recommend something different than cy-kick?

    Is it safe for plants to apply Cy-Kick to houseplant soil?
    I found a scorpion while transplanting my houseplant! Can I use Cy-Kick without harming my plants?

    Cy-Kick CS would not hurt plants when used as directed. It is labeled to be sprayed on shrubs and other vegetation for insect control outdoors but does not have instructions for potted plants.

    Safety level for people and pets?
    A

    We recommend that you follow the product label and SDS for information on protective equipment when applying insecticides as they can vary. The SDS for Cy-Kick CS recommends that you wear basic protective gear. We do carry a Basic Safety Kit on our website and offer free shipping! It is recommended to keep people and pets out of the area during application, however, once it has dried completely they can return to the area.

    Cykick CS for active termites in the attic board...
    We recently had our home inspected for termites. There was only evidence in our attic, in one board. It might have even been old, as the house was tented once prior to our moving in. The pest control company we used recommended spot treating, but as their service was outside our budget they also told us the DIY method for treating since it it as such a small area. They recommended we drill holes into the board every two inches, in lines, almost all the way through using a 1/32 bit. And then use Cykick in the holes. We bought the product, but are hung up on how to apply and if this really is the way to spot treat. Reading all the FAQ seems more like a general product.. To treat this problem, would we need to actually inject it into the holes, or is drilling the holes then pump spraying the area recommended? What injectors are available if that’s what we need?

    Cy-Kick CS is labeled for termites, but a better choice would be Termidor Foam.  The reason is that termites who contact Termidor transfer it to every other termite they in turn contact, in a unique process called the "Transfer Effect." And because Termidor is engineered to be slow-acting, termites have ample time to spread it throughout their entire termite population.  There is only one injection tip that comes with Termidor Foam. The tip of the Termidor Foam is about 13 mm in length and 1 mm in hole size. The hole size that the product should be applied in is 1/8" - 1/4". The holes should be drilled between 8-10 inches apart.

    What is the shelf life for Cy kick in a heated barn?

    The shelf life of Cy-Kick CS is between 3-5 years but with it being in a heated barn it probably diminishes the shelf life to 1-2 years.

    Will this stop wasps from returning?
    I have a tree that has been chewed out a bit and the wasps love the sap coming from the tree. Will this block the pheromones to deter the hornet from returning?

    No, Cy-Kick CS will not detour wasps from returning. It will leave a residual of up to 30 days that will control those that come in contact with the residual. Permethrin SFR 36.8% tends to deter wasps from rebuilding due to the oily residual it leaves behind.

    What is the best insecticide that I can mix in my own sprayer to kill roaches?
    I own a deli and I’m starting to have a problem with roaches with all my best options

    Cy-Kick CS is a great product and will do a great job towards helping you to get rid of roaches. For best results, we also recommend that you use a roach bait gel to help get rid of roaches in places where you cannot spray, along with an insect growth regulator (IGR) which helps stop the roaches breeding cycle.  You may want to consider using one of our Roach Control Kits, as they contain all of these products together. Pets and people need to be kept out of the area while products are being applied, but can return as soon as all surfaces are fully dry.  Please take a moment to look over our article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for more information on how to do a complete treatment for roaches.

    Also is it safë to use indoors around lagèe birds likè an Amazon Grey

    Cy Kick is labeled for bed bugs but would not be recommended as a sole treatment for bed bug treatment. Please take a moment to review our How to Treat for Bed Bugs  for a full step by step guide on how to treat for bed bugs. 
     
    We also would not recommend using any product near or around where your birds are located.
