    Q
Will Cy-Kick CS kill ticks outdoors? Should I combine it with anything else?
    A

Yes, Cy-Kick CS can be used for ticks outdoors. You should spray the entire affected area when treating for ticks, but pay extra attention to areas of dense brush, tall grasses, yard debris, and shady areas where animals like to spend time. The use of an IGR like Archer IGR would be a great addition to your treatment. You may want to take a look at our Outdoor/Indoor Flea and Tick Kit as it will have everything you need for a complete tick treatment.

    Q
Can Exciter, Cy-Kick CS and Tekko Pro be mixed and applied together for spider control?
My house mainly attracts roaches and spiders so I wanted to see if I could mix Tekko Pro with these two products and have it affect both pests. If that can't be done or if Tekko Pro isn't effective on spiders is there a mixable IGR for spiders?
    A

Cy-Kick CS, Exciter and Tekko Pro can all be tank mixed and applied together.  However Tekko Pro is not labeled for spiders and will not be effective on them.  There are no insect growth regulators labeled for spiders.

  • Asked by Cecilia from New York, Ny
    02/23/2019
    Q
We have springtails coming out of the sink and bathtub in our apartment. Would you recommend Cy-Kick CS?
    A

Yes, Cy-Kick CS can be used indoors and outdoors for springtail control.  Spring tails can be tough to eliminate because they reproduce very quickly. In almost every case where people have spring tails they also have a moisture problem such as a leaking or sweating pipe, poor ventilation in their crawl space, lots of wet mulch right up next to their structure, etc. You must locate and correct the moisture problem to get rid of the spring tails, insecticides alone will not do the job. You may want to look over our article on How To Get Rid Of Springtails for more information on treating and preventing this pest.
