Yes, Cyzmic CS Controlled Release Insecticide can be applied to kennels, yards, runs, and other areas where pets may frequent to control fleas. We also recommend adding an insect growth regulator to help stop the flea cycle in your yard. IGR's work to help stop juvenile fleas (eggs and pupa) from developing into sexually mature adults. You can purchase our Outdoor/Indoor flea kit which contains both products that you will need for outdoor flea treatments. Dogs must be kep out of the area during application but can return once dry.
Cyzmic CS is a synthetic pyrethroid and is not a non-repellent insecticide.
Pregnant women and everyone other than the person applying the product should be out of the area during application of Cyzmic CS Controlled Release Insecticide. Everyone can return once everything is fully dry.
Cyzmic CS Controlled Release Insecticide should be used within 24 hours of mixing.
Cyzmic CS should not stain or leave any visible residue or discoloration if mixed and applied according to the instructions on the product label. Having said that, we always recommend that you test any product you choose on a small inconspicuous area to be sure staining will not occur. For indoor treatments, you can use Cyzmic CS at the rate of 0.4 ounces per gallon of water. For outdoor use where the product will be in contact with UV rays and rain we recommend using the highest allowed usage rate which is 0.8 fl. oz. per gallon of water (0.06% active ingredient) as it will have the fastest knockdown and last the longest.

Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide would be a great option in cracks and crevices. It has a light botanical scent that will dissipate once dry. It would also recommend applying outside as a barrier sprayer. View the General Pest Prevention Guide as well or helpful tips.
A great product to use for general pest prevention and maintenance in areas which are not on the water would be Cyzmic CS. This product can be used for mosquitoes as well as common crawling pests. It is encapsulated for a longer residual in sunlight and heat, too. If you are needing to treat close to water such as marsh, ponds, etc., then I would recommend Essentria IC3 which is safe to use around aquatic areas. We have more great tips in our Mosquito Treatment Guide here.
When measuring out the Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide you will only remove the cap off of the measuring reservoir. This is a squeeze and pour bottle, so you will squeeze the main section of the bottle until the product travels up the outside straw to the reservoir and fills to the desired measurement line. At which point you would stop squeezing the bottle, then pour the measured amount out into your pump sprayer to mix with your gallon of water. Agitate to mix, pump up the sprayer and you are ready to make your application.
Cyzmic CS is an encapsulated insecticide, which means each bit of active ingredient is protected in its own capsule. This helps the active ingredient to stay stable for longer, especially in the harsh heat, sunlight, and rainfall many areas get during the Summer months when mosquitoes are most prevalent. Encapsulation also helps to distribute the product more evenly over surfaces like foliage, and it keeps the product in place better, preventing runoff. Since mosquitoes may only touch a leaf in a few small spots, encapsulated insecticides give us the best chance that a mosquito or other target pest will pick up a bigger chunk of that active ingredient more quickly. We also use less product per application, and applicators get less exposure to active ingredients . The only real disadvantage to a product like Cyzmic CS is that it costs more per application than Talstar P. If you have a very large area to treat or need the extra flexibility of some of the additional pests on the Talstar P label, then the Talstar P may be a better choice for you.
Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide can kill lightening bugs if they land in the areas treated with the product.
Cyzmic CS is not labeled to be broadcast across porous surfaces or interior surfaces.
Spraying fences down with a general insecticide like Cyzmic CS would be a great way to try and deter nests from being built in crevices along the fence. Cyzmic is a residual insecticide that, once dry, will continue to kill insects that come into contact with it. Focus your spray where they land, and they will pick up the product on their bodies and feet and slowly die from it. It may take time to drop a large wasp population, but treating where they normally build nests will help reduce the number in the area and hopefully stop them before they really get a chance to get a new nest started.
Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide may be applied every 30 days outdoors and every 90 days indoors for insect control. Please see our Carpenter Bee Treatment Guide for more tips on eradicating this pest.
Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide is applied at the rate of 0.2 - 0.4 oz. per gallon of water.

There is not a knockdown insecticide by itself labeled for Carpenter Bees. There is Tempo Dust which is a fast killing dust that can be used to puff inside the boring holes made by Carpenter bees. You could also use a combination insectide that already has the knockdown power but also the residual that you need to treat Carpenter Bees. That product is Temprid FX. Please review our Carpenter Bee Treatment Page for recommendations.
