Deadline Force II Slug & Snail Killer contains the powerful attractant Snare. Easy and convenient to use liquid formula lures snails and slugs away from your vegetable, fruit, ornamental and flower gardens. Provides up to 4 weeks of plant protection and resistant to irrigation and rain. Should be applied to soil surface around the plants but not directly on the plant. This product is specially formulated to attract and control slugs and snails. The presence of slugs and snails can be detected by their shiny-mucous trail. They are night feeders and prefer damp, cool places. Apply this product in areas likely to be infested at the beginning of the spring planting season before damage occurs and as needed during periods of damp weather. Treat every 3 to 4 weeks or as needed. During periods of high rainfall or frequent waterings, it may be necessary to treat more often. If ground is dry, thoroughly water areas to be treated. For best results, apply in the evening around flowers, ornamental plants, vegetable gardens and lawn areas. Apply only to the soil surface around plants. Do not apply directly to plants. Do not mix with any seeds prior to application.
Flowers & Lawns: Flip up spout and lightly squeeze a solid line of this product around flower beds and lawn edges. Apply any time, but preferably in early evening. Repeat applications as needed. When applying, occasionally turn bottle upright to allow air to enter bottle.
Vegetable Gardens: Apply a solid line on the soil between berry and vegetable plants.
Force II Deadline Slug & Snail Killer can be used on the following plants: Ornamentals: azaleas, begonias, camellias, chrysanthemums, daffodils, dahlias, daisies, geraniums, honeysuckle, hydrangeas, ice plant, impatiens, iris, marigolds, pansies, petunias, rhododendrons, roses, snapdragons, sweet peas, tulips. Vegetables: artichokes, beans, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn, cucumbers, lettuce, peas, peppers, radishes, spinach, squash, swiss chard, tomatoes. I bought my first bottle of this product at Ft Gordon Base Exchange Augusta GA on clearance. I applied it to my potted hostas, had no problem with slugs at all. I then applied it to other plants and had great results. Could not find it in any local stores so had to order. Please try to have some of our local stores carry this product. GREAT PRODUCT.

I noticed the answers I have read it is safe to let pets out after it is invisible. Deadline does not turn invisible when dry it turns black. So, after it dries and turns black, is it safe to let pets out?
Per the product label on Deadling Force II Slug & Snail Killer you need to be very careful after the application. You want to keep children and dosmetic animals out of the treated area until the product is no longer visible. So this product should eventually not be visible at all in the area that you are treating in.

If you can how long do you have to wait to pick after a treatment?
The Deadline Force II Slug & Snail Killer should only be applied directly to the soil surface and between rows and not to the plant itself. While Rhubarb is not specifically on the label there are many other plants and edibles listed and the longest pre harvest interval is 21 days from time of application.
