I love Deer Scram. It’s the only product that has deterred deers from treating my garden (especially hostas and day lilies) as an all you can eat salad bar. BUT, opening the container is not for the faint of heart. It frequently takes me 15-20 minutes using a pliers or hammer and chisel to get the top off. If you have deer problems and are relatively fit, I highly recommend.

This stuff really works. It keeps deer away from our hostas and lillies. However, it is not perfect and we still get deer damage from time to time, usually two or three weeks after applying Deer Scram, which gets us motivated re-apply it. We have lots of deer around and they used to decimate the hostas and lillies, but for the past couple of years we have been using this product and enjoying the flowers. It is a little expensive, but cheaper than having a professional service. We tried such a service, which applied pepper spray, and it was completely ineffective.

This granular formula is easy to spread, does not smell terrible and actually works.

'Works excellent when applied BEFORE the snow melts and the deer start grazing in the area where the trees / shrubs grow.

The deer that come across the road from the nature preserve, or from our neighbors place have been feeding on our hostas, hydrangeas, ate all our neighbor's rose bushes, and then had desert in our garden on the tomato and pepper and lettuce plants. But no more with the application of Deer Scram Professional. If I can smell it, which I do from 20 feet away, then they surely can, and they have been leaving these plants alone. I just have to reapply after heavy rains. But it appears to be working just fine.

So far it works like a Swiss watch ! I have used many products over the years and none have worked this well, It remains to be seen that this product will continue to repel the deer ! however, It has keep all the rodents away including rabbits !

If you wantt to keep the deer away from your plants and flowers, this is the stuff to use. If you use a lot of it, the is the economical way to go.

I have been using Deer Scram for many years and it works most of the time. The deer sometimes ignore it. I hope the Professional works even better..

I think it actually works. I have seen some deer in the woods, but so far the spring flowers are intact,

I received this product from DoMyOwn in a timely manner. I have used regular Deer Scram in 2018 and it worked very well. Hoping the professional grade is even better. We live on a small farm and the deer always ate my flowers/bushes by my house. This kept them away! I would recommend Deer Scram.

We've had a wet spring so I don't know how effective this product is. I made anothet application today and we will have few dry days. I measure success or failure by how much deer poop is on my lawn. After my spring clean up (a lot!) It seems to be less. Maybe the deer have other dining opportunities?

I use this on two large properties (2-5 acres) with black-tailed deer in suburban settings. I sprinkle it directly on their favorite items, and then stripe off the specialty gardens, directing them through the property but not trying to block off the entire perimeter, which would take hundreds of containers. I use one pail for two properties per month with bi-weekly application. It took more at first, but now it takes far less. The deer will not cross the line. I also spot apply at corner spots--end of a hedge, bend in the drive--places an animal might sniff. Also about 80% effective on rabbits!. But it does stink! so be prepared for a few days of crinkled noses. Also it's best to wear a face mask and gloves that are either disposable or washable, or you will be smelling that stuff for hours afterwards.

The deer really do take offense at the product being placed around plants that need protection. Highly recommend the product.

The Deer Scram did not contain the scoop your website advertised, and the product has lumps that are not granules but hardened knots. I do not think the product is worth the nearly hundred fee it costs. A light rain does not enhance its effectiveness but seemed to destroy its power to deter deer from invading our yard.

Just put on my first application a week ago and it appears to be keeping the deer away. I will be able to give a complete review in the fall when the deer seem to be more active in their feeding. My neighbor's landscapers used in their yard last year and they were the only ones in the neighborhood that the deer did not eat their flowers.

While living in Orange County New York (not far from a large apple orchard) we first became aware of this product. We planted a number of different items on our wooded property (approx. 2 1/2) but quickly learned that in many instances we were providing the salad bar for all the deer in our area. Using this product and also by trying to plant some deer resistant plants we were able to see immediate results. We since moved to Michigan and still live in a wooded area with plenty of deer. This product is a bit more expensive that some others you will find at the "big box stores" but it is well worth it. We are able to enjoy our shade garden plants as the deer (while still in the area) are finding other "salad" Buy it - It works!

Deer Scram is the best product I have ever used and the only one that really works to keep my plants from being devoured by the deer and rabbits. You can barely smell it, it's easy to use and lasts a good while..even through rain. I have deer and rabbits in my yard every night, but since I began using Deer Scram, they don't touch my hosta and other "delicious" plants. Great product!!

Since I started using Deer Scram my roses have flourished. I am now able to keep the deer away from my roses and my hibiscus trees. You really need to put it around and in the bushes at least every two weeks particularly when it rains a lot. Thank you!! This stuff is worth every dime.

I am still having deer eating my Hosta. But the rate that they are eating them has slowed. Seems to be having some positive effect. Similar results to Repelsall, I had hoped it would be a more effective deterrent.

I live in the burbs and have dear that like to use our yard as a food bar. I have used several different methods to keep deer away. Everything from deer repellant sprays to electronic gadgets to herbs with strong smells and still the deer prevail. Deer Scram does a pretty good job for a while but what i have found is that if you have several days of very dry weather, you need to wet the area down a bit to make DS effective. I have also found that after a while, the deer ignore it so i have started to rotate methods between electronic repellents and Deer Scram. One major annoyance (most will say it is a small thing) is that the 'scoop' is always at the bottom of the pail. Have to dig it out to use it.

I'm using Deer Scram Pro on the ground for Hosta and other deer-licious varieties and Liquid Fence to protect the "reachable" leaves of new Dogwood and Sand Cherry. Because I'm fairly certain deer can't read, I'll say "so far, so good." It's working.

This is the first of the many products I have tried to keep deer from eating all my plants and shrubbery. I have tried many, but, this product works great. I put out every couple weeks to a month and haven't had any visits from the deer that live in our neighborhood
