    Mixing Demand CS with weed killer in 25-gallon sprayer for the yard
    I plan on spraying my yard for weeds using a concentrate in a 25-gallon sprayer, is there any issue with putting the Demand CS in the sprayer with the weed killer? Or should I do it separately?

    You can mix Demand CS with an herbicide as long as there are no restrictions on the label for the other product that you are using. We recommend performing a small jar test for compatibility any time you are using two new products together for the first time. Be mindful that you are only applying your herbicide in the correct areas.

    Is it safe to spray Demand CS on the cool decking around your pool if it doesn't get in the pool?
    Curious as to whether it's safe once it dries on the cool deck or if is it bad to walk on it with wet feet.

    You just want to keep in mind that Demand CS and other pyrethroids should not be sprayed over the entire surface of a deck or other hard surfaces. Keep to perimeter treatments and spot treatments where target insects are found.

    Is Demand CS safe to use on palm trees? Grasshoppers are eating the fronds.
    If so, what ratio of product to water should be used?

    Yes, you could use Demand CS Insecticide on ornamental plants, including palms. You can use 0.8 oz of Demand CS per gallon of water to treat larger pests like grasshoppers. Be sure to treat the grass around the palms as well.

    Best way to treat home...
    Tiny black bugs (pest control has said either grain beetles or carpet beetles, unsure) how to get rid of them? I've already tried boric acid all over my carpet and let sit for 4 hours then vacuumed it up. I'm deep-cleaning everything little by little and still finding baby bugs, so gross! Please help! Thanks so much!

    If they are in fact carpet beetles, we would advise using our Carpet Beetle Control Kit. We would also advise following our guide on how to get rid of carpet beetles that explain both chemical & non-chemical approaches to get rid of them.

    How far into the woods should I spray?
    I have a cabin on a lake in northern Minnesota and am wondering how far into the woods to spray Demand CS?
    A

    We suggest spraying to the edge of your property. Please note, that Demand CS treatments should be kept at least 25 feet away from any bodies of water and should be applied where no runoff into a pond can occur.  For a better option closer to the pond a natural product like EcoVia would work.

    Is this product safe to use in my barn around the horses and goats?
    A

    Demand CS is labeled to be used in barns and other animal housing structures but the animals must be out of the area while the application is being made and they can return to the area once it is dried. Demand CS should only be used in cracks and crevices and care should be taken to make sure over-spray does not contact feed and water supplies or feed/watering dishes. Be sure to read the Demand CS product label for complete application instructions.

    First, can this be applied by a Gas Powers backpack sprayer/fogger? Second, does it kill Mormon crickets?

    Demand CS particles are too large and have the potential to clog the fogger. Demand CS and Exciter can be mixed together for mosquito control for use in a pump sprayer. Demand CS is not labeled for use inside of a fogger.

    One more quick question!
    Do I need to rotate the adulticide and growth regulator every 3 months for flea control? And if so, what would be two types with different modes of extermination? I've been using Talstar P outside and Alpine WSG inside. Nyguard is the growth regulator I've been using in and out.

    Does DemandCS hurt trees or shrubs?

    No, Demand CS Insecticide is safe for ornamentals. Just make sure you apply either early morning or late evening before the sun comes up/goes down to avoid heat damage.

    What's best for FAST knock-down of flies/mosquitoes?
    I've been doing some reading and found Talstar P and Demand CS to be preferred for flies/mosquitoes. Additionally, I see ExciteR to be suggested as an additive for a faster knock-down. In the summer months, I am plagued with flies due to local cow fields. In the evening hours, the mosquitoes are quite bothersome. So, sadly we get no rest… day is flies, and when it cools in the evening it's mosquitoes. What would be the best product(s) for a FAST knockdown and eradication of these nuisances? My go-to insecticide has been Termidor SC (which has been phenomenal for other insect eradication, long term) however, it's practically useless for knock-down unless applied directly.
    A

    ExciteR Insecticide would be the best choice to be mixed with other insecticides such as Demand CS Insecticide. Residual insecticides do not kill on contact, instead, they area bit more slow-acting. So you can use a synergist such as Exciter to kill anything it comes in contact with. Exciter leaves no residual so it needs to be mixed with a residual insecticide. It is labeled for a variety of flying insects such as mosquitoes & flies. It can be sprayed more often than residual insecticides since it has no residual. Products such as Demand or Talstar should only be sprayed every 3-4 weeks due to their long-lasting residual while Exciter can be sprayed more frequently (if needed).

    I know this product is child/pet safe once dried. What about if it rains on the dried application?

    Demand CS is rainfast after it has dried completely. This is typically in a few hours after it has dried.

    Can I mix Demand CS with Mecoprop P?
    Can't find information on the compatibility between Demand CS and Mecoprop P.

    It is recommended that you apply insecticides and herbicides in two different applications.  Because you can turn a non-repellent into a repellent when mixing insecticides with other chemicals. We would recommend spraying Demand CS Insecticide by itself.

    Can it be washed off easily?
    Demand CS was sprayed and aerosolized near my mint plants. How easy is it to wash off? Will rinsing them render the leaves safely edible again or do I need to wait for a year for new leaves?

    Generally, Demand CS Insecticide can be washed away with hot soapy water. However, if you get it on edibles they will need to be disposed of & not consumed for a year.

    Can I mix Dominion 2L and Demand CS together?
    I see these two products listed on the invoice when the exterior of my house is treated but I only see them spraying out of one tank

    You should not mix 2 residual insecticides such as Dominion 2L and Demand CS. It is never a good idea to try to mix insecticides unless the label instructions clearly state that you can do so. Mixing insecticides can cause them to not work properly. Also, Dominion 2L amount of water needed to treat is different than Demand CS. Dominion 2L is generally used to treat a pest such as grubs and requires more water to reach the soil, while Demand CS is a surface spray. Choosing when and how to use the products would depend on the ultimate goal of the product.

    Does it stain vinyl siding?
    Does it work to keep house flys from hanging on my siding

    Demand CS dries clear when used as directed and will not stain. It is labeled for flies but they will still land on the siding which is what you want so they come in contact with the treated areas.

    Demand CS Insecticide is labeled for beetles in general so should control Asian lady beetles as well. If you would like something specifically for them, you may consider using Suspend SC Insecticide

    I have a 48oz hand pump sprayer. Can I use this sprayer to mix and apply Demand CS? What ratio of Demand CS to water would I use for my 48oz sprayer? I see in the details/instructions that measurements of the product are only given per 1 gallon of water

    Demand CS should be mixed at 6-12 ml per one gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft per the product label, which is 3-6 mL or 0.1 - 0.4 oz per half gallon of water.

    Can Delta Dust be sprayed from a wet sprayer? Can it be mixed in the tank with Demand cs?

    Demand CS Insecticide should not be mixed with Delta Dust. Delta Dust should not be mixed with water as it is a dry dust application only.
