Yes, you can use Demand G Granules for both grubs and ants.
Demand G is labeled for millipede control and will help you limit their numbers greatly. According to the Demand G product label: "For optimal control, remove debris and leaf litter from next to the foundation, cut back vegetation and branches that touch the foundation, and move or rake back rocks, deep mulch, or other potential pest harborage areas next to the foundation prior to application". You should not rely solely on chemical control. There are ways to modify the environment immediately around your home to discourage insects from moving in. Demand G is not labeled to be used in areas that animals graze but is labeled for fleas. Essentria All Purpose is labeled for pastures and range lands. Animals should be out of the area during treatment until dry. Typically a few hours is best.
<span font-size:13.3333330154419px"="">Demand G has an application rate of 2-3 lbs product per 1000 square feet. So if you can figure out what your walking speed is then you know anytime you apply any product that calls for so much of it per 1000 square feet, you always set your spreader on this setting. You can calibrate this by marking off a 1000 square foot (10 x 100) area and placing 4 ounces of any type of product of similar granule size, or of the extinguish in the spreader. Start with a low setting and start walking your marked off area at a normal pace. You can adjust as you go and find the basic setting for you to apply the product over a 1000 square feet.
You should wait 3 days before or after mowing for the application of Demand G Granules.
Demand G Granules are labeled for Sod Webworms (lawn moths) at the rate of 2 – 3 lbs per 1000 sq ft. Insecticide granules are not going to kill the eggs as they are protected while inside the egg. When using Demand G Granules around wood chips it would be ideal to remove them apply them to the soil and also over the wood chips. If this cannot not be done just make sure to use enough water to get the product down under the wood chips. This product is used in a spreader and does need to be watered in. Please refer to the label for complete applications instructions.
Demand G Granules should be applied at least 10 feet away from a water well. This product does not leach into the soil, but rather treats insects that come to the surface.
A 25 lb bag of Demand G Granules will cover approximately ¼ acre.
Demand G Granules is not labeled for scorpions. For a granule option, Talstar XTRA Granular Insecticide is labeled for Scorpions and can be applied a perimeter band around the foundation of the home and a broadcast application to the lawn.

Once Demand G Granules have been watered in after the initial application, and dried completely, it will not be reactivated by rain making it unsafe for your children to be on the lawn.
Demand G is an insecticide only for killing insects, it would not effect mice. Please take a look at our mouse control page here.
Typically as long as you are not under/over applying or incorrectly applying an insecticide, resistance is highly unlikely and would take long periods of incorrect applications to occur. If you have not started to see signs of the Demand G Granules efficacy reduce or be ineffective, you could continue to use it. Should you wish to rotate to a different granule insecticide, DeltaGard Granules would be a great choice.
The shelf life of Demand G Granules is 3-5 years as long as it's stored properly, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
The Demand G Granules does not specifically mention livestock or poulty use on the label. For pets, it states after the product has been lightly watered in and had time to dry, it is safe for re-entry. We would suggest only applying this as a band around the exterior of the home or using the liquid Demand CS for treating roaches.
