Demon Max cannot be mixed into paints or stains.
It is recommended to wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection when using Demon Max per the SDS. We do offer these items in our Basic Safety Kit.
Demon Max can be used in a mist blower at ½ fl oz per gallon of water. We would recommend keeping birds out of areas treated with Demon Max for several hours until the product dries and any odor dissipates.
Demon Max would bond to the soil for up to 5 years. While it is labeled to be used in a trench application for termite control, it is not a recommended product to treat and/or prevent termites. Demon Max will only kill termites that contact treated areas, it is not able to be transferred throughout the colony to eradicate an entire colony. Taurus SC or Termidor SC are the products of choice for subterranean termite treatment. They will bond to the soil for up to 10 years and are able to be transferred throughout the colony by the affected termites to eradicate the entire colony.
Demon Max is a great product that is labeled for ants (including fire ants). For general broadcast spraying in your lawn, you would mix at a rate of ½ ounce per gallon of water. For treating for fire ant mounds, per the product label you would want to use the Drench Method (Ant Mounds, Fire Ants): Apply 1-2 gal of 0.1?mon Max emulsion to each mound area by sprinkling the mound until it is wet. Treat a 2 ft diameter circle around the mound. For mounds larger than 12 inches, the higher volume and wider treatment diameter (up to 4 ft) may be needed. For best results, apply in cool weather, such as in early morning or late evening hours, but not in the heat of the day.
Yes, Demon Max is labeled for wasps.
Demon Max can have some knockdown properties, but it is not considered a contact kill product. It is a residual insecticide that once dry will last on the surface 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors. However, this product is not labeled for gnats. You could use a product like Talstar P. Yes, Demon Max would be a good option for drenching fire ant mounds as directed on the product label.
Demon Max can be used to treat for flies outside around barns, however it cannot be used in grazing/pasture areas or in any building occupied by animals that are used for food purposes or which product products for human consumption (such as dairy cows, egg-producing chickens, etc.). We recommend using a combination of products including fly baits, fly traps, sprays, and also animal treatment products as needed for fly control. If you would like to tell us more about the specific areas you need to treat, then we can better assist you.
Demon Max is not really selective, so it could potentially harm benificial insects such as bees and butterflies. To minimize this risk, apply in the early morning or in the evening when they are least active, and avoid applying directly to any blooms.

When making an application of Demon Max, everyone except the applicator should be out of the area where it is being applied. Once the application is done the treated rooms need to be left vacant until the product has time to dry.
No, Demon Max does not stop working once it has dried. This is a residual product, which means it will continue to kill insects after your application has dried. It will provide approximately a 30 days residual outdoors, and a 90 days residual indoors.

Yes, Demon Max is labeled for interior and exterior use and it can be used to control ants, including crazy ants, that come in contact with the treated area. You should try to treat the colony or nesting site directly. Crazy Ant mounds are not readily visible above ground. Possible nesting sites for Crazy Ants include: soil beneath landscape timbers, logs, mulch firewood and other debris. Crazy Ants may also nest inside rotting wood and tree holes. Demon Max will kill most species of cockroaches, including German cockroaches. It is is mixed at the rate of 1/2 - 1 oz per gallon of water, for cockroaches. Please take a look at our Roach Control Guide for more information on doing a complete roach treatment.
