    Can this be used to keep out Palmetto Bugs?
    I'm mainly wanting to know if this repels and creates a barrier around and inside my home from these giant bugs/roaches.

    Demon WP Insecticide will not "repel" the insects, but will will create a barrier of treatment around and inside your home. Be sure to spray eaves, soffits, window frames, door frames, areas where cables, pipes or wires enter into the structure and any other crack, crevice or gap where insects can harbor.

    What if Demon spray was sprayed on cat food or cats got into the puddles of it left on the floor?
    My elderly father bought this for roaches and was told it was safe to use around pets. He took that as you can spray it anywhere. It was sprayed on pet food and puddles were left all over the floor where my cats were able to walk in it and lick it up? Now a few weeks later my cat is having awful seizures. Im not blaming Demon, I blame my father. But I need to know if its possible that it has caused his illness...please help me.

    Demon wp is safe around pets after the treated area has dried. It sounds like this product was applied outside of label instructions. We highly recommend to contact the manufacturer Syngenta 866-796-4368 for further instructions.

    Is the Demon Wp residue safe to touch?
    We sprayed our screened in porch with Demon and the white residue is on surfaces that are commonly touched by my 1 and 3 yr olds and 3 month old puppy? I wanna make sure it is safe for them to be touching the areas before I let them play back out there. We had to spray because of black widows.

    Although, Demon WP works great on treating for spiders. We do not recommend applying it in that area where the kids and pets would be in very close contact. You can wash the residue off with hot water and soap.

    I used DemonMax for ticks in my house - cracks, floorboards, etc. why am I still seeing tiny ticks!
    I used 1oz for a gallon of water and added a growth regulator. I sprayed every room after vacuuming and carpet cleaning. I washed my dogs with a tick shampoo and I sprayed my couch as well....why are they still here? Will this product work?

    How long it takes the ticks to die after they come into contact with a treated area will depend on a number of factors. It will depend on the maturity of the tick as well as how long they stayed on the treated area, how long it has been since the area was treated and the concentration that was used to treat the area. Demon Max is a great product for tick control - and you used the correct dosage. Typically it can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a day or so for them to die. It can take several weeks for you to stop seeing ticks indoors because the ticks like to stay hidden which also means they could be staying out of treated areas and eggs may hatch out prolonging the infestation. We recommend doing follow up treatments every two weeks at the highest usage rate of 1 oz of product per gallon of water until you do not see any ticks.

    Can you recommend a product as affective as Demon WP, but without the white powdery residue left.
    I have used Demon WP, and I like it a lot. Don't like the residue on my cedar siding, but don't want to give up the results I got from it.

    Yes, Martins Viper contains the same active ingredient, but will not leave a white residue. Please be sure to check the product label and make sure the specific insects you are treating for are listed.

    Will Demon wp kill buffalo gnat?
    We are having an issue with buffalo gnats or black flies. We found there nest. Will it work if we just pour a bunch in the water and spray the surrounding areas??

    Yes, Demon Wp should kill the buffalo gnats. For the nest you want something that will provide an instant knock down like CB- 80 aerosol. Let us know if you have any other questions, please.

    Will Demon WP affect livestock or goats?

    Demon WP should not be applied near any animal during application and they should not enter an area treated with the product until it has completely dried. Demon WP Insecticide is NOT labeled to be applied to areas where animals graze.

    How long after spraying Demon wp should you wait to spray Gentrol?
    I got demon wp going spray along counter top against wall and along appliances, was going to spray gentrol there and in cabinents, was wondering how long should i wait for the demon to dry before spraying gentrol.

    We normally do not recommend to apply Demon Wp in food handling areas. If you are treating for roaches, you can bait on the counter tops an in cabinets. You can spray Demon mixed with Gentrol along baseboards, cracks, crevices, and outdoors 2-3 feet up and out around the perimeter. You would mix 1 packet Demon with 1 oz Gentrol int o 1 gallon water.

    Is there a benefit to mixing Demon WP with Onslaught Spider and Scorpion?
    Would it be better to alternate between Demon WP and Onslaught Spider and Scorpion or to mix them and spray together to control bark scorpions?

    It is not necessary to mix two insecticides together. What you could do to ensure that the product works faster is use ExciteR. It can be mixed with either Demon WP or Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide. ExciteR will provide a quicker knockdown when mixed with an insecticide. If used alone, the residual is not as long.

    What product would be good to use for brown recluse spiders?
    Bought a house last fall which turns out to have confirmed brown recluse. I have some Demon WP left but need to re-order. Should I stick with Demon for inside and outside control or switch to Onslaught Scorpion & Spider? I'm also planning on ordering/using Talstar PL granules outside. Thank you!

    Demon WP is labeled for spiders, however with using the same product for a long period of time insects can become resistent to that active ingredient. You can solve that problem by simple switchning to another product with a different active ingredient such as Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide which is also labeled for spiders.

    You should mix 2 packets of Demon WP per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft for treating cockroaches.

    Is it normal to still see fleas after the first Demon WP Insecticide treatment?
    we just moved into a house where te previous owner had a dog. We don't have any animals but are getting tore up by fleas. We sprayed 1 treatment and are still getting bit. Not as bad but still.

     Demon WP Insecticide  will not eradicate fleas. You will also want to  mix in an IGR like Precor IGR to break down reproductive cycle. It can take multiple treatments wo eradicate fleas.

    When using Demon WP inside it is only labeled to be used as a crack and crevice treatment only.  Other products are more recommended and we have an article here that would give great advice.

    Why are one pound jars of Demon WP not being made anymore?
    Why are one pound jars of WP not being made anymore? I am a pest tech and can only get my hands on WSP formulations.

    The bulk 1 lb jars of wettable powder have been discontinued due to issues with misuse as well as reports of the product being accidentally inhaled upon opening the jar.  They are now only available in pre-measured packets like Demon WP or Cyper WSP.

    Is it possible for Demon WP to be transferred through the AC into my home?
    I have very sensitive skin. My fiance sprayed the outside of the house 24 hours ago with Demon WP.We also have a portable AC window unit (the kind with the hose that sticks out the window). It blows directly on me at night. I am worried that the powder will be sucked up by the AC unit and blown onto me. Yes I know this sounds ridiculous but I get severe rashes if simple hand soap is not properly rinsed off my skin so I do not want to chance something even harsher that kills live organisms. Is it a possibility the powder could be transferred and blown into the home via AC? Thank you!

    Provided the product was used according the the product labeI instructions it would be highly unlikely as Demon WP is mixed with water and then sprayed outdoors. There should be no interaction with your AC venting in order for this to be able to get indoors like that.

    Yes, Demon WP is safe for use in and around your boat house and/or dock. Be sure not to use this product in areas that will come in contact with water. If it comes in contact with water, it will harm the invertebrates there. You will use 1-2 packets per gallon of water.

    Will Demon WP work for ants?
    A

    Demon WP will kill just about any insect, including all types of ants. However, Demon WP will only kill the ants that walk over where you treat around your home. It will not take care of the queen and other ants back where the colony is. The key to ant control is to use a product that will not kill the ants around your home on contact like Demon WP will, but a product that they will take back to the colony and kill the queen and other ants at the source.  Our most popular product for this is Termidor SC. Or, you can use ant baits that the ants will eat and take back to the colony.
